I’ve been using this for a little while now to test if I can finally get my volunteer writers to script a review properly. It’s great for forcing discipline.
However I have noticed that whenever a post is submitted that has been created using any of the custom templates we’ve created, the logo no longer appears at the top of our site.
I’ve noticed that the img src for the logo is changed to a value of “Array”, rather than the theme defaults.
Any ideas?

When I went to “Add New” on both Post and Page edit screens, I discovered that the plugin widget still appeared in the sidebar. How can I remove it?

I don’t know what version started this, but I only recently discovered the problem.
When creating a post from a previously created template, the new post defaults to comments and pings being disabled. To fix the template requires editing it and enabling those options in the template.
So this seems like some bug that snuck in without warning.

]]>Hey love the plugin… I got the advanced version for unlimited sites and on my second site it says it’s been activated too many times. I installed the second site with UpdraftPlus migration tool….is there something that needs to be cleared out to register this new site properly?

1) If I create a new page by loading a template and save it.
Page created successfully !!
2) If I edit a page/post and load any other template, then it creates a new POST with that template, instead of loading that template into existing page/post.
Please suggest any solution..

Also tags, categories, etc. are all missing after loading the template, and instead of publishing, the only option is “Submit for Review”.

I suppose for now I’ll just continue using .txt files to manage my html templates for posts on my many wordpress sites!

]]>Hi, the plugin is great and I would think about buying the pro version, but frankly the pushiness is keeping me from doing it.
– There is a huge block on the bplugin page, which cannot be hidden/desactivated.
– Much, much worse: there is even a large text on the widget on the edit page, taking more space than the entire publishing widget!
I have never, ever seen any plugin do this and I am not sure if this is even allowed within WP rules for free plugins.
A little less spam would let the plugin shine and convince by functionality, not by an overdose of nagging. Already in my 2nd page edit, I got so annoyed by the spam widget that I
– decided NOT to buy the upgrade (I would not really need it, but it would be for support as this is so useful)
– decided to write this topic.

The moment you ask the template to load any content with at least one instance of that tagline, only the title will show up.
Hope the developer (Clifton Griffin) keeps it in mind whilst rolling out the next update.

]]>I am trying to install Simple Post Template V 2.0.9 in WordPress 3.6.1
The install seems to go OK and in the admin panel I can see the admin for the plug-in with no templates installed.
However when I go to add a new template, it allows me to fill in the data fields for the new template and hit save. The template is NOT saved and it simply return to an empty list asking me if I want to create a template.
I have tried deactivating and re-activating with no success. I have tried several new template with no success. I have checked the server file structure permissions and no new template file is added.
Any suggestions as how to isolate?

]]>When I set a template that includes an image and bolded text, it does not save. I save the template and the template name is saved. When I hit “edit” the content is gone.

]]>I discovered that Simple Post Templates doesn’t work well when network-activated on a WordPress Multisite installation.
When I network-activate SPT, my templates aren’t saved after I enter the information.
But if I activate SPT on individual sites, the my templates are saved.
I’m currently running WPMS 3.5.2 and SPT 2.0.6.2
