Can you advise when this plugin will be safe to use with current version of WordPress due to security issues – or do we need to we remove it?

I’m trying to set [spnote] to a value in meta key.

I mean for example in gravity forms, I want to already preset the value of a field as the [spnote].

In other words, is it possible to set [spnote = “a paragraph text here”] ? or what is the existing key so to set the value in the gravity forms field? (i.e. “spnote_nonce” is the key for [spnote] ?)

I see in the last update you added “[Added] Sanitization for better security.” I have been storing affiliate links in the note temporarily and I think that this update might be stripping some characters. Is there a workaround?

Is there a way to turn on notes for Users, Media and other Non public post types.

I can add notes to my pages which is helpful, but I would like to sort by notes.

I manage a bunch of sites and rarely add a note unless there is something special I don’t want to forget when editing a page. It is too easy to overlook the note completely or only see it after you have already completed your edit. I think it would be helpful for the notes to show in the admin view with a yellow background to draw your attention that there is something special here.

Could you add a filter in a future update so that the array of posts returned can be manipulated. For example, I have a custom post type that is private that we would like to use with Simple Notes. If the array of post types is filtered we could append our desired post type to the select list. The array I’m referencing is on line 459 of simple-post-notes.php.

Maybe, in the next version, you could add the height of the textarea to be configurable via the plugin settings?

For now I just updated the rows=”5″ to rows=”20″ directly in the source code.

Thanks for your great work on this plugin! Very easy for users to use.

It would be helpful if the plugin output a div or a span around the note when it’s displayed on the front end in a post via the shortcode. This would allow for styling to set the note apart from the rest of the post.

With custom post, the notes are duplicated in the “Notes” column on admin. But all is ok with regular post and page.
I use WP 5.2.2.

Is there a way to not have the Notes show up in the Post’s (or Page’s) All Posts menu?

If there is a note of any length, the page gets pretty unweildy.

The “Save” button in the plugin can’t be translated, because it has wrong domain.
It’s using “spnotes” instead of “simple-post-notes”.

I did try to delete the plugin and after I did download the database and looks like the content is still in the database, did not disapear.

Could you create a way to deleting all the content of the database in order to have a clean istallation if we not longer need the plugin?

What if we could edit the CPT as SuperAdmin of a multisite? So, we can at once to edit 10 or 100 or 1000 sites.

That way we could let our contributors know what it is for or how we’re using it on our site.

How bulk edit functionality work ? Is it possible to open multiply posts for bulk edit at the same time ?

When sorting notes, it doesn’t follow how you would expect sorting would work. Instead of “1-9, A-Z, Blank” or “Blank, Z-A, 9-1” it leaves gaps between post listings. See screenshot for example.
