Its not simple… if you have to create theme files to make the plugin work correctly. The setup seems normal, but I’m not sure what you gain with this plugin over just creating a CPT with the types and views plugin…

This plugin is bogus. Too much broken stuff going on that it shouldn’t even be considered.

• No attached media shows up in Admin like depicted in author’s screenshot.
• Meta information not showing up on frontend.
• The sample theme provided does not work. No media is showing up.
• No gallery functionality for images (even if they did show up)
• The link to the author’s screencast even 404s to a dead page! Come on man!
• And there appears to be no support provided from the plugin author.

Since updating to v3.5 or so, my portfolio posts do not list, and when typing project URLs manually, they seem to be using attachment.php for the template.
