It has one sidebar (right). I want to add a sidebar to the left, site-wide. This is going to be a BuddyBoss site, using the free version of BuddyBoss.
Does your plugin allow me to add a second permanent sidebar to my theme? So that I could then also use your plugin to customize both right and left sidebars as to the widget area wanted for a given page?

After upgrade to 5.8, the widget’s created under “Simple Page Sidebars” cannot be maintained anymore (appearance/widget/add or change a widget to a sidebar) – the layout is changed – widgets on the left dispaear, sidebars still displayed but incomplete.
When try to create new entry, only the WP blocks can be selected, but not those from origin “Simple Page Sidebars”
When I set the cursor to the blank areas, where the origin “sidebar widgets” are hidden,
it is possible to do some changes – but it’s very limitated.
I could replay this behavior in my old xammp – WP prototype where i did upgrade also to WP 5.8 (w/o touching the other plugins)
I’m using WP theme fourteen
Can you have a look on this issue?

Post type is ‘sc_event’. My snippet is:

]]>I have a KnowledgeBase (Echo KB) that has a left sidebar. For some articles it is used to create a TOC. For other articles, it is not. I’m looking for a way to either dynamically have the sidebar checked and collapsed if empty, or an option on the article page to simply select, include sidebar.
Right now EKB has the sidebar on or off, and we can’t turn it off as many articles need a ToC. But this makes many other articles have a massive white space on the left.
Can this plugin help?

I was using the extension with the wordpress theme Codilight Lite. Everything was working perfectly.
I changed to the premium version of the Codilight theme. Now, the extension doesn’t work anymore…. I can no longer choose a sidebar when I go to a page or article.

Hi. All my customised simple sidebars have disappeared. I updated WordPress and a different plugin and got a few errors. But then the sidebars have gone. They show up in WordPress dashboard but are empty.
Where is the content for the simple sidebars kept? I’d assumed in the WordPress database – but restoring the databases does not return them.

]]>I cannot edit the sidebars. The Widget page says there are no sidebars to edit on the current page. If I navigate to the page with the sidebar I wish to edit and then click the WP Customize tool as the widget suggests, I’m back to the Widget page claiming no sidebars to edit…just an endless loop with no hope.
Navigating to Pages/all pages, then clicking the title of the sidebar in the column provided, there is no way to edit from there — just how to choose a different sidebar for that page.

Our client has tried to create a new sidebar and select it for a page but, despite the sidebar showing in the selected dropdown, it’s not showing on the site. Instead the default sidebar is displaying.
There’s little configuration here so there’s not much we can troubleshoot. Any ideas?
