I’ve tried other plugins that will clean out revisions but this seems to work more reliably, and also does the nice database optimization as well. I popped in to PHPmyadmin to check it out and it seemed to be doing the trick.

This plugin offers a large set of options for what gets deleted from the data base, as well as being able to optimize, check, and repair all in one step.

If a scheduler (which is included in the Ultra edition) and an option to set the number of post revisions to keep were included here, it would be the perfect choice.

I had problems with my database. Every time I entered in my WordPress admin I was losing the theme options and I could not restore them. Thanks to this plugin in a few seconds everything has returned to work properly.

I don’t usually write reviews but this plugin saved me so much time that I had to give it props. I was having issues with _transient buildup in my database. I’ve done some looking and was unable to find a reasonable solution until I stumbled onto this plugin. Thank you, you’ve saved me hours if not days worth of time!
