Wow, after deactivating and deleting this shitty not working plugin, it still redirects me to that page ! I deleted that page, cleared browser cache, cleared LS cache, but it sill does it ! ?? Any advice ?

I am really amazed with a simple very lightweight plugin can do so much. Thanks a lot to the author. For those who are using https:// protocol, to avoid infinite redirection Edit the plugin, modify line 34 in mobile-redirect.php and change https:// to https://.
I hope this will be supported for the next future releases.

This plugin breaks for special characters allowed in URLs such as ampersands.
It also does not work with relative URLs.
Spend some more time testing this please!

This is a wonderful plugin: simple but does the intended job.
I especially like the options of “redirect homepage only” and “redirect once”. These two options enable me to basically use the same responsive site for all visitors, but at the same time allow mobile visitors to avoid the home page, which tends to be “too fancy” for phone bandwidth.
Two suggestions though:
1. It seems that the plugin detects mobile visits by looking at the browser types. It would be much better if detection method could be changed to customisable screen sizes.
2. The unit for cookie expiry time for “redirect once” is “day”. It would fit more sites if the unit could be changed to “hour”.
Overall, it’s a great plugin for my site.

I just needed to redirect the home page to the blog for mobile apps. Together with Any Mobile Theme Switcher, it is giving me the mobile look on an old theme that I inherited. The only problem is accessing the real home page, but it is not a major problem.

Works great, thus 5 stars. Still no option to use the redirection standard of “viewFullSite=true” parameter to set cookie that stops redirect, but the “redirect once” is a very close alternative. Support to redirect (or not) tablets. Able to set to 302. Wish the plugin wasn’t 5th down the list when you search… much better then the plugins that show up above this plugin.

Just perfect so far… elegantly simple. Would love to see a list of the user agents, just so I know what’s in and what’s out. And what if new agents are used in the future, can we add them? Otherwise this plugin is just what’s needed. I was using W3 Caching plugin before which has a mobile redirect but it was not working so this did the trick.
