Hey, does anyone know if this will eventually be updated for WordPress 4.0? I work for a non-profit and we’re trying to have a Spanish option for our patients and this plugin would be the perfect final step in that process, but it won’t work with the version of wordpress we have.
Thanks! ??
]]>Hello,
I found your plugin and I thought that exactly what I need!! But I’m affraid it won’t work in my multilingual setup…
In order to have multilingual site, I’ve tried qTranslate but it didn’t work as I presume it was not compatible with my theme (it messed up my page layouts). Besides that, I have flash intro with text inside in home page which can’t be recognized with multilingual plugins such as qTranslate or WMPL. I’ve also tried to set up multisite but I wasn’t successful and had many problems with plugins on my site that didn’t work properly after creating network.
After long time trying, basically what I did is was creating two WP installations for two languages (www.mudronja-apartmani.com/hr, https://www.mudronja-apartmani.com/en), and translated them separately. In future I plan to have 4 WP sites for 4 languages.
To create language switcher, my first idea was to insert text widget in main sidebar, which contains text (or flags) with links to different home pages depending on chosen language (<href=”https://mudronja-apartmani.com/hr/”>HRV | ENG …).
But your plugin has posts and pages interconnect which is great, but will it work with different installations, and not multisite network? If it will, I presume I should install it on both instances of WP?
Many thanks in advance,
Ana
