Is it possible to update the plugin? The plugin is affecting my other plugins on a few websites. I uninstall this plugin a year ago.

]]>Nice plugin, but my sitemap.xml has double home page. I use latest 1.5.0 version of plugin.

Nice little plugin. However, I’m unable to set the priority for the home page independent of other pages. For example, I want to make the home page 1.0, while the other pages are .7. When I do that, they all come out .7 and I am unable to set the home page any differently.
Any suggestions how to fix this. Right now I’m doing it manually, but that gets overridden whenever the sitemap gets updated, so that’s not a good solution.

]]>The plugin is working great, and I want to thank you for it. However, I do notice that entering the domain name into a web browser brings me to my site, but many times the plugin runs cron in the URL which the search engines are picking up and indexing causing duplicate content.
Is there a way in the new version to DISABLE automatic sitemap creation and add a manual build in settings?

]]>i just installed this plugin, in hopes of replacing the google sitemap generator (which cannot seem to work with large numbers of posts, even when limiting the number of posts in the sitemap). but immediately after installing and activating, there is no where for me to see/set the settings for the plugin.
i guess that is the ultimate in “very simple admin interface”. ??

]]>Had a customer update automatically 2 sites from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2, sites then stopped rendering (all white pages, from the home page on). So, the update did not have good effects for their sites (www.calvaryhampton.org and https://www.calvary-kids.com). Both hosted on Linux servers at hosting.com. Removing the plugin via ftp brought them back up, then reinstalled 1.4.1 and all is well. Let me know if you need more info.

I was able to narrow it down to the following php.ini file variable. When “short_open_tag = Off”, the Simple Google Sitemap plugin breaks because the plugin author has mixed <?php and <? tags throughout the file.
The solution was to change <? to <?php wherever it occurred in the file (except for line 65, which is this in my version:
$xmlcontent = ‘<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>’.”\n”;)
