Hi. Can anybody help me work this out. I’ve been using SGM for years, but some of my maps are no longer showing when I convert my pages to WordPress blocks. Here are two examples…
https://www.free-city-guides.com/munich/st-peters-tower/
https://www.free-city-guides.com/paris/opera-de-paris/
They should appear in the ‘Location or contact’ section. I’ve tried using the shortcode block and the paragraph block but neither seem to work. I’m sure it’s something obvious but I can’t figure out what… Thanks
]]>I am having an issue with Simple Google Map after updating the to the latest version a week ago. Everything had been working fine. After updating, the map is greyed out with the following displayed “This Page Can’t Load Google Maps Correctly.” I opened up JavaScript console and it has the following warning: “Google Maps JavaScript API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys” This is odd, because the API key is there and it works with a different google map plugin I use elsewhere on the same site. To see the issue, please visit https://meadowlakelandcompany.com/land/e-1707-0099-0000/ . Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.
]]>Hi. I’ve just upgraded my site from version 2 of SGM to the latest release. I got an API key as described, but now where the map used to be there is just a map-sized blank bit of page with nothing there. I can’t understand why this might be. Can you help?
]]>Hi,
In light of the upcoming GDPR laws, does this plugin store personal information in any way and make use of cookies?
Thanks
]]>Hi there,
I’m wondering if there’s an option to show the info bubble when the page is loaded as opposed to needing the user to click the marker?
Thanks!
]]>Hi there…
Using Simple Google Map in conjunction with the Story theme, I get the following error on the page:
Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
In the js console, I see:
js?ver=31035b6…:32 Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error
Here’s the web page in question:

I am using this combination successfully on other sites. Ideas?
Please advise. And thank you!

]]>Hello
Can you tell how to change google maps default marker with custom .png icon?
Thanks
]]>I just installed the plugin and i get this error message about the prefixed fullscreen API being obsolete in the JS console.
Do you plan on fixing this little problem or should i use another plugin ? I’d be sad, i liked the simplicity of yours ??
When I updated this plugin to the latest version (3.2) my website became totally inaccessible – only blank pages. I deactivated all plugins, then reactivated. Simple Google Map was the culprit. I reinstalled version 3.1 and normal service resumed.
]]>With the old version 2 I can place the map where I want, using the shortcode.
With the new version 3 the map appears ALWAYS on top of my page, using a shortcode.
Is this a bug, for I can’t place the map where I want to?
Please, developers consider this nasty problem.
Hello
I’ve seen that the map is always on top of the post/page, even on your site as of today 13.01.2016.

Seems like a bug to me… Is there a fast fix?
Thanks,

I’ve added a street address to the directions field but there’s no option being displayed to get directions. Using it in a sidebar widget.
]]>Is there a google map plugin that lets me move dots?
By dots I mean the little bubble thingeys?
thanks for any leads!
Newbie jim.
BTW I can donate a little to help this…
]]>Hi,
First of all: Great plugin! I love the simplicity ??
One request/suggestion: Including (on the admin page) some basic shortcode examples or instructions as on https://clarknikdelpowell.com/wordpress/simple-google-map/ (or even just a link to that page) would be very welcome. It’ll make it easier to reach the full potential of this plugin for new users ??
