]]>Hi. Thanks for the fantastic plugin. It’s been enormously useful.
I have one question. You’ve written it so we can specify which categories we want the post list to come from – or we can choose which categories to exclude. Is there a way of making it include (or exclude) specific tags instead?
I experimented with switching ‘tag’ for ‘category’ in sfpw.php, thinking I could use the tag ID instead of the category ID, but I guess it’s not that simple. (Entering tag IDs in the field in the widget area resulted in no posts getting listed at all.) Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Chris

]]>Hello, Your plugin is just what i want, but the image is displaying too tall for the width. I do not want to set the height of the image in the widget every time i post something, so i was happy to see your plugin would do the height automatically. The problem is that it is calculated wrong. What to do?
thank you,
Nancy

]]>Thanks so much for this amazing plugin. It’s so helpful and easy to use.
I have a question for you, my widget is pulling in my 150×150 thumbnail image, instead of the featured or first image in the post.
I am using timthumb, linked to from the widget, so the plugin is taking the small 150×150 image and sizing it up to the dimensions I set in the widget at 300×150, making the image very blurry (see the manicure featured post in the right sidebar).
Is there any way around this? Thanks so much!

]]>Hi,
Great plugin. I need a little guidance with the css. I want the posts displayed like they are in the pic on this link – https://www.yourinspirationweb.com/en/wordpress-plugin-featured-posts-with-thumbnails-highlighting-your-best-articles/
Can you please reply with the exact css I need in order to accomplish that?
Thank you very much.

]]>Hello,
First of all, congratulations for the nice plugin!
I’m already using it on my website, but I need to reduce the font size for the titles, can it be done with spfw-style.css?
What should I add?
Thanks!

]]>Really like this plug-in. If I widgetize a page, can I use this plug-in on a page as a gallery with the images linking to each post? If this is possible, will the images display in columns (maybe 3, 4 or 5 columns? And will the gallery be automatically updated whenever I publish a new post?

]]>Another comment – I find on v. 3.4.2 I can’t target (e.g., “hide on selected”) using the “or target by URL” scheme.
I tried “hide on selected” from “category/books/*” but it doesn’t hide from that category.

]]>I love this widget – but I wish the thumbnails could also act as links to the post. Are they supposed to? If they are perhaps it is an incompatibility with 3.4.2.

]]>I recently had some issues at one of my WP installations, where using this plugin, caused the_content() not showing the correct content. It displayed the content for an entirely different post, and it was random every time!
As a side note, other the_
functions works fine and loads the data from the correct post, like the_title()
and the_author_post_link()
.
Disabling this plugin fixed the issue.

]]>Does this plugin show an image in the post or the featured image?
I tested the plugin on localhost and got this: https://s19.postimage.org/6dyjy96mr/plugin_bug.png.
All these posts have featured images.
The one with thumbnail has its thumbnail wrongly shown (the actual featured image attached to that post is not the image you see in the picture; it displays one of the images in the post instead).
