Dear Mr Degayo
Many thanks for writing this great plugin! Having spent some time with it, I wonder if it’s possible for you to add a bulk edit capability by any chance? It would be really helpful to be able to set the same image for multiple posts in a custom taxonomy – something one cannot easily accomplish right now in WordPress.
Hi,
You’ve added Open Graph meta fields like description. My tag descriptions contain HTML and they are not escaped by your plugin, so they break my page by injecting HTML tags into the meta value.
Also: I use Yoast for my meta tags and now all of my pages contain duplicate tags. You might want to disable this feature by default, as I think most websites already have some sort of a solution for this topic.
Keep up the good work!
Kees
Hi Folks,
@ /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wpsfi-settings I don’t see “Post Category” to enable featured images for.
Is it not possible to set a featured/Open Graph image for post categories?
Thanks.
Thanks for the work on this plugin, much appreciated!
I was wondering if this plugin was available on GitHub as I’m happy to submit a PR for these issues:
* The Taxonomy checkbox settings do save, but are not “checked” when the page reloads after saving, as in_array
is checking against the wrong variable ($wpsfi_post_type
instead of $wpsfi_taxonomy
).
* There are also typos of the word image (“imgae”) in both
labels on the same page.
I’d also like to suggest changing the menu item’s name from “SFI Settings” to just “Featured Image” – as “SFI” is not immediately obvious and the “settings” is implied given its location.
Cheers
Is there any chance that the featured image will get the OG:image tags?
so the image that I define in your plugin will apear in facebook as OG for the tag or category?
thanks!
I have syndicated feeds from several authors. I want to ensure that each of their articles displays their branding. I have been making and adding the featured images manually each time there’s a new post.
I would love to have “Authors” added. Thus I can select categories, tags, or authors for featured images.
Yes. I could, in fact, assign each author a category or tag but that’s a LOT of posts to edit!
