But I have setup your plugin and I have added a product. But when I click on the Add To Cart button nothing pops up nor can I see a shopping cart or anything like that.

Is there something I am doing wrong and can you please help me resolve it?

I am helping a customer set up her shopping cart using the premium version of Simple E-commerce shopping cart.
I followed instructions – deleting the free version of the plugin, then uploaded and installed the zipped file. It loads into the Plugins list, but when I try to activate the plug-in this is the page I land on.

I’ve deleted and tried re-uploading and installing a couple times with the same results every time. I’m not unable to re-download the file because the link is expired.
I’ve tried contacting them through Facebook (no response even though they say within 24 hours) and no response to the email I sent to support.
can someone help me? I’m hoping it’s something as simple as a corrupted file but I can’t get anyone to help me.

I installed this plugin on my wordpress 4.9.1. When I open “Store” page I get the following error:

When I added the Simple eCommerce Shopping Cart plugin to my site I later noticed that the Gravity Forms confirmation text messages stopped appearing. The confirmation page was rendered but no text was displayed.

I contacted the Simple eCommerce Shopping Cart app developer via email and he requested an admin login to the WP dashboard. I sent him the credentials and didn’t hear back for a few days. When I emailed him again to inquire how progress was going I noticed shortly after that the Gravity Forms submissions were failing because the database tables were set to read-only. Those tables happened to be the ones used by the Simple eCommerce Shopping Cart. I emailed the developer to ask if he was debugging and didn’t hear back.

3 days later, still no word from the developer but the database errors no longer occurred. I still have the original problem with the Gravity Forms confirmation text not being displayed but at least the forms can be submitted again.

I would have appreciated being informed of when the developer would be testing on my live site and would have expected a response to my many emails.

I added the simple shopping cart plugin and set up the products and short codes (add to cart button and checkout page). When I use “edit page” to edit the page all is well. However, when I go to the URL: https://www.fargorockshop.com the product is not there.
I noticed that when I look at the source code the product is not there either. What is going on?
My theme is AmaTheme.
I can’t the magnifier to work either. Is that related?
I am a newbie and confused!!!

Hi there,
I tried contacting you through your website about a week ago but have not received a response.

We are having a problem with the email function of the plugin. The purchaser is not receiving the confirmation email I setup in the plugin. The confirmation email did come to my inbox, so I know the email function with our server is working, however the specified fields were empty: {first_name} {last_name} and {product_details}- there was no information in them.

Any help you can provide would be great. Thanks!

I have all the shortcodes working and all that. I have associated images on the Add/Edit Product page, but they aren’t showing on the store page. Am i doing something wrong?

Hi I am using the virtue theme at https://www.verdevalleycsa.com/csa-payment. When I try to add the first item listed to my cart a box pops up that says “We’re sorry.” I tried deleting the first item and adding it again (it then became the bottom item. The “new” first item, that had previously been the second item, now has the same box pop up when I try to add it to my cart. When it was second in the list it added to the cart with no problem.

Please help.

After a successful sell, the confirmation email that I set up don’t go to the customer.

Do I have to configure smtp setting somewhere ?

The only configuration that I see in your plugin is:

Email Adress: I put my email adress
Email From: I put the name of my website

When I enable the Paypal test mode, I receive this message on the checkout page:

Failed to connect via curl to Paypal. The most likely cause is that your PHP installation failed to verify that the CA cert is OK…

What does it mean exactly ???

Hi,

If I enable the option “Terms & Conditions” and the customer don’t check the box, he receive a warning : You have to agree the Termes & Conditions.

But he can continue to the checkout page without any problems…

How to block the customer until he check the box ?

Hello —

I’m wondering if it’s possible to just drop in the shopping cart with the shortcode on the same page as the shop and NOT forward the user to the cart page after the add to cart button is triggered. This would cut out the need to go back and forth between cart page and shop page to add more items.

Hi There

We created a coupon with a discount percentage of 100% of the product price to offer the digital product for free. Once the coupon is applied however, there is no way for the customer to complete the purchase.

How do you suggest we do this so the customer can receive their download link?

Hi Everyone,

Question about this plug-in, and I’ll try to be as direct as possible. Curious to see if this plug-in will allow a site owner to keep a percentage of a sale.

For example, say you put together a site that sells other people’s products. When you make a sale, can you keep a percentage of the sale as well as pass the order along to the seller?

Think Amazon in case I’m not clear enough. ??

Amazon lists other people’s products and takes a cut of each sale, then passes the order on to the seller. I’d like to accomplish a similar functionality, just on a smaller scale.

Curious to see if this plugin will work, or if there is another option available that might work instead.

Hi,

I’m using Norwegian currency on my site. We don’t have a special symbol (like $), so we use NOK or kr. If I enter that in the currency symbol box, it turns out to be impossible to enter a final space, so prices looks akward (e.g. NOK125 – we always insert a space after the NOK). If I leave the box empty, the plugin automatically inserts a $, which is wrong, given that I have specified the currency as Norwegian NOK.

Furtermore, on product pages, the currency symbol shows twice, e.g. Price(NOK): NOK240.00, which looks awkward.

How do I fix this?

I have just installed your plugin and my ‘proceed to secure checkout’ link broken.
After looking through the support forum I’m afraid it may be because I renamed some of the pages(?)
