This plugin is great. Just check what to export > save > boom.. exported as csv or xls.
Some features that could be improvement to this plugin – having xlsx version or rename while download. more frontend options. But still I would give it a 5 star.

As its name, the plugin works out just great, a few minutes of available selections, then boom! you get what you need.
Would like to ask for a tiny feature update, please include unicode text format export.

Simple CSV/XLS Exporter does exactly what it is supposed to do: exporting specified content to CSV or XLS files. Nicely embedded into the dashboard, works right out of the box, no annoying limitations to force users to buy any premium version. I couldn’t find any negative thing.

Great plugin, super fast to set up and works really well. CSV exports using the comma delimiter don’t cause any worrying warnings for users either.

This plugin is very intuitive to use and can do anything I need. WP All Export couldn’t export the fields I needed, this plugin can. You can even export and download your customized export with a URL without even logging into the backend. It works fine with the current version of WordPress.
If there were a Pro version that allowed you to have multiple custom exports set up and accessible by a URL, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Tip: you may need to change the default csv separator to a comma in the settings.

Great plugin, easy and intelligent, there’s not many .xls exporters out there. If only it had a import feature as well, this plugin would beat other expensive ones.
It doesn’t recognise characters like “€” or “￡”, though (translating them as “?”)

I see some errors on the settings page like: Warning: strtolower() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /wp-includes/formatting.php on line 1881
