Hello Support,
I wanted to download and install this plugin but found this on details tab:
“This plugin was closed on January 23, 2018 and is no longer available for download. Reason: Author Request.”
Is there another plugin that will provide similar functionality?
Thanks,
-JP

Could someone please help me?
Thanks in advance!
I’ve been using content reveal plugin for 3 months, today I’ve updated it and suddenly it stopped working correctly. The link to click on is appearing but clicking on it doesn’t do anything… I’m using the latest version of WP 4.8, Can someone tell me how to fix it? Thanks

Hi,
I’m not sure if this is something I can do with Simple Content Reveal to be honest..
I want to create something like https://backlinko.com/actionable-seo-tips, with 3 different “filters”:
Paid/Free tours
City center/Out of town tours
Indoor/Outdoor tours
I created this to make them shown once I click on the relevant option, but it looks not working. Again, I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing.
What could be wrong?
[reveal_link heading=”
City center
” id=”citycenter” default=”show”]
[reveal_link heading=”
Out of the city
” id=”out” default=”show”]
[reveal_link heading=”
Free
” id=”free” default=”show”]
[reveal_link heading=”
Paid
” id=”paid” default=”show”]
[reveal_link heading=”
Indoor
” id=”indoor” default=”show”]

First let me say thank you for all of your hard work with your awesome plug ins. I have been using content reveal for a long time and have made a pretty specific side bar menu that worked great until function calls were removed. I was able to avoid any problems by sticking with an older version (2.1.1). But now that wordpress has updated to 4.7.2 the dropdown function seems to either not work at all or it will drop down for a second then reclose depending on the browser. Is there anyway to add function calls back into the plugin? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I really like this plugin, it’s exactly what I was looking for. However, I would like to center align the “read more” link generated by this plugin. I’ve tried doing it in the HTML section of the post editor, but it doesn’t work.
Here’s a link to the page in question: https://www.kravmarktyrkesroll.se/processen/
Thanks!
Hi,
Currently, I’m working out the image button and found that the image and test heading are separated into two lines. I want to make the two to be shown in one line. How can i do that?
In my code, I used [reveal heading=”%image%– Labour Policy in Underdeveloped Economies — (click to reveal or hide)” id=”labour-policy” folder=”icons” ext=”png”]…[/reveal]
The output is captured: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8MlkDuTRx3_NGNISE9wZldKbTQ
The same problem occurs even if i use the default icon.
Many thanks.
Hey! I wonder if someone has any clue on how to add an image to use as the working button for hiding/revealing content?
Thanks in advance!

Hello
I have installed the plug-in Contents Reveal with a view to trying to add in a desirable feature to the Primary Sidebar on my WordPress site. This sidebar has a number of sections include a Pages section which presents a contents list for my side. I would like to home in on the pages section and provide users with the option to reveal the contents list for this section or hide it. On reading the advice at https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/7-essential-tips-for-using-shortcodes-in-wordpress/ , I carried out a trial by copy-pasting the shortcode [reveal heading=”
%image% Some Blah Content Below
” id=”id1″]Blah, blah, blah content here[reveal] provided by the plug-in author into the Content Box for the Primary Sidebar, so as at least to help manage the content of this sidebar as a whole. However, on viewing the result, I noted that the shortcode (and the title I included in the title box) just appeared at the bottom of my primary sidebar.
I would appreciate advice on whether there is an alternative plug-in which could work to meet my above need.
Many thanks!
Hi
I’m having a strange issue. I have two pages using Content Reveal – an FAQ page and a page called How to Apply listing different application details (for festival crew).
Both pages use the same layout (though one uses a plugin to put a featured image behind the page title), both use the same Content Reveal shortcodes (IDs and titles are obviously different).
The How To Apply page works as expected. The FAQ page does not – the title changes (From ‘Show…’ to ‘Hide…’) when content is revealed, but does not change back when the content is hidden again – the title still displays ‘Hide…’ when content is hidden. This is the same using the latest Firefox and latest Chrome on Win 7 and Android.
All plugins and themes are up to date. I’ve disabled all plugins except Content Reveal and no difference. I’ve also tried all three Cookie Use settings, no difference.
Here are example shortcodes from each page (I’m using the text tab, not visual):
[reveal heading="%title%" id="fest" title1="Show Festival Q&A" title2="Hide Festival Q&A"]
Content here... [/reveal]
[reveal heading="%title%" id="mlbdj" title1="Musicians/Live Bands/DJs" title2="Hide Musicians/Live Bands/DJs"]
Content here... [/reveal]
Any ideas?
Hi ??
As with all my plugins, I present this to you for free. There no ads, nags or premium options. Support is free too.
As for everyone, my time is limited. It’s just me and NOT a team of people. If you post here I should get an email straight away and I’m quite good as responding quickly. But, yeah, I may not always due to numerous reasons, including holiday (aka vacation). And, no, I won’t tell you when I’m going to be away. At the end of the day, I’ll do my best. I can’t do anything more, surely?
If you’re interested you can see current planned enhancements and reported bugs (as well as roadmaps for planned work) here…

Have fun, enjoy the plugin and, if you don’t, let me know – support queries and reviews are always welcome!
I am trying to create enclosed levels of reveals, but it does not seem to be working.
Could you please check if it is possible?
Here is the example nested list
1. (should hide all child levels of Item 1, but not any levels of Item 2)
1.1. (should hide all child levels of Item 1.1, but not any levels of Item 2 or Items 1.2)
1.1.1 (should hide all child levels of Item 1.1.1, but not any levels of Item 2, Items 1.1 or 1.2, or 1.1.2)
1.1.2 (should hide all child levels of Item 1.1.2, but not any levels of Item 2, Items 1.1 or 1.2, or 1.1.1)
1.2. (should hide all child levels of Item 1.2, but not any levels of Item 2 or other parallel levels 1.1. or 1.3)
2.
2.1.
What should be changed in the code to ensure logic described above?
[reveal heading=’1′ id=’1′]
1 – text
[reveal heading=’1.1′ id=’1.1′]
1.1 – text
[reveal heading=’1.1.1′ id=’1.1.1′]
1.1.1 – text
[reveal heading=’1.1.2′ id=’1.1.2′]
1.1.2 – text
[reveal heading=’2′ id=’2′]
2 – text
[reveal heading=’2.1′ id=’2.1′]
2.1 – text
[/reveal]
Thank you!

I have whatever the most updated version is.
For some reason whenever I try to insert a square, the image is horribly distorted and humongous. I’m using super small images and yet the plugin keeps stretching the images horribly instead of leaving them the size I’ve uploaded.
In addition, Some of the circle layouts have these huge white boxes behind them with a shadow on them. It looks crazy.
As if all of that wasnt enough, many of the layouts show up with a 2nd copy of the image above the circle or square and the text that should only be seen “on hover” is just sitting below it in a box.
Hello
I’m almost there…
I am not getting the h2 style applied to the heading – could someone please take a look and let me know where I’m going wrong? The heading is simply showing as
‘
Estatutos
’
this is code I’ve added….
‘ [reveal heading=”
Estatutos
” id=”id1″]
Estatutos en Espa?ol
English Statutes [reveal]’
Thanks

Hi. Currently I’m using this code: [reveal heading=Continue…][/reveal]
The result is: Continue…
I would like to use this image in place of the text: https://jabajabba.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Continue….png and have it centered under the content.
How would I do that?
Thanks.
…kind of.
I am in the process of rebranding my plugins under the name of “Coded Art” with a website and social media links to follow! As well as providing a more professional look, I hope to be able to provide further assistance via a dedicated website.
It’s exciting times and I hope to provide further details in the coming weeks. Meantime, this plugin has now been rebranded but, don’t worry, all support queries will still be managed by myself, whatever the user name says.
David.
dartiss,
Thanks for the plugin!
Quick question – How do I add colour to the visible part (visible on the website) of the plugin?
I am using shortcode to insert the plugin.
It seems like an obvious question – but I’ve had a good look around the forum and cant see an answer.
Thanks, Paul.

Hi–
I just installed the plugin for the first time. Looked great until I clicked to show content—then the image disappeared and was replaced by a “broken image” icon, as though the image file had been lost. Weirdly, it stayed broken after I clicked again, so neither image1 nor image2 displays after clicking.
I even tried referencing my own images, but I get the exact same behavior with this code—my “image1” shows up until I click the link, then neither image displays:
[reveal heading="%image%" img_url='https://mywebsite.com/images/reveal/liveaudio/' id="id1"]
[audio mp3="https://mywebsite.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/mysong.mp3"][/audio]
[reveal]
Any suggestions? What am I missing?
David
Hi David,
What shortcode property can be used to enable the hidden part to be open (revealed) by default when the page is accessed? If it is not yet possible, can you add this feature that would certainly benefit the plugin functionality?
I have this code

How to escape ” in order to treat it as part of the text to be shown rather than end of the heading declaration?
Thank you.

Have a serious mobile issue with the plugin. It seems like it does not support simple tables. It shows fine in desktop but in the mobile version it shows blank page with a plus icon only. Does it mean that plugin does not support tables? Can this be fixed?
https://ch1.2biz.ca/home/test/ – does not work in mobile. (has simple table)
https://ch1.2biz.ca/home/test1/ – works fine in mobile (no table)
Can the plugin have issue with another plugin Magic Liquidizer Lite that converts tables to responsive format for mobile devices?
Thank you!
