Thanks for this great plugin. I switch from jQuery Colorbox to this one as I love simplicity.
However, after activating the plugin, the modals were not properly styled (happened with all themes I tried). This didn’t when I used the latest colorbox from Github. Therefore, I quickly found out that Simple Colorbox an outdated version of Colorbox:
I’d be grateful if you could update your plugin’s dependencies. I’m 99% sure updating Colorbox won’t break anything as they’re all minor tweaks and fixes, nothing serious (no code refactoring).
I’m happy to help if you decide to also host your plugin on Github. There is a couple of other things that could be improved.

]]>First off I’d like to say that Simple Colorbox is a great plugin, the best that I know of to add lightbox-type overlay functionality. Thanks for creating it!
I’m not sure whether or not my problem is related to a flaw with the plugin itself, but I have no idea what could be causing it and was hoping you could perhaps point me in the right direction. On one site only, the captions fail to appear at the bottom of the colorbox. If I edit an image, clicked on the “Advanced Settings” tab, and enter a title under “Advanced Link Settings”, then THAT appears as the caption, but nothing else works. On all other sites I have with Simple Colorbox installed, filling out just the basic Title field sets the caption (including on gallery images, for which one cannot even access the Advanced Settings AFAIK).
I’ve tried reinstalling Simple Colorbox, and also switching to Twenty Twelve theme and disabling all plugins except for Simple Colorbox, but it has no effect. I’m so confused, do you have any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone has advice for how to keep the simple colorbox working after enabling W3 Total Cache plugin, especially the object and browser cache.
I don’t think it’s just this plugin’s issue, as I’ve have issues with other gallery plugins (colorbox and simplebox I think) and W3 Total Cache.
Is anyone using this plugin with W3TC?

I would like to make it even more lightweight by removing the plugin’s CSS and using my theme’s CSS instead.
How do I remove Simple Colorbox’s CSS file? I am using Theme1 (by default) and noticed that it’s being called in the plugin’s index.php via this code:

]]>I just tried this plugin, but sometimes,only sometimes i cant use it correctly. When i add a picture to my page, it will either insert it as it is supposed to, or the page just goes blank and then nothing happens. I tried i both safari and chrome but the same thing keeps happening, what to do?
