We’re testing your banner and really like it. However, on mobile it’s not displaying correctly. We have gone through all of the options and they either cover the hamburger menu or our preferred which is “Static” pushes our “Donate” and “Refer” buttons to a space that cannot be seen by the user (you can see the top of them under the Myton logo).
I read that you could upgrade to pro if there was issues and you would have access to support as there may be custom CSS required for your site. I’m struggling to find the support email though and was wondering if someone could help me?
A background on us, we’re a hospice in the UK and a registered non-profit. This year to provide our services free of charge to our patients and their families we need to raise ￡11 million and like all charities we are really struggling at the moment so if we could get this fixed via a plugin instead of using an agency to develop a banner for us that would be a huge help!

]]>In the current version (or at least a very recent version), when I use this emoji ?? in the banner and hit Save Changes, it reverts (loses) my changes.
- When I remove the emojis, it saves changes correctly again.
- It probably happens with all emojis.
Is there a way to prevent the banner from appearing after I’ve closed it? When I close the banner and reload the page, it reappears. Is there a way to stop it from showing up again, perhaps by using cookies?

We are using the banner to make our cookie declaration, linking to Privacy Policy etc… We use nothing other than necessary cookies so we simply want to tell visitors what the situation is and then allow the banner to fade away after a defined period. We currently tell visitors to click the ‘red cross’ but this isn’t particularly useful for some with accessibility needs, hence the desire to remove the red cross and simply fade the banner away.

]]>I installed Simple Banner and didn’t like how it displayed so I’m going to look for a different solution. After uninstalling it however, the header menu on my website is still moved towards the bottom, with a blank space above it, so I’m assuming the Simple Banner div is still there. How do I properly uninstall this plugin so my page returns to normal?

Can I ask why support for wp_body_open was removed in version 3.0.0? I’m dealing with CLS issues on several sites as a result.

Website version used is 6.6.1, I noticed there is a warning which says the plugin has not been tested using this version.

]]>If you view this link on Chrome on desktop the background for the banner is a blue-grey color and the text is white (which is what I want). When you view it on an iphone chrome browser, the background is gone (just uses brown color for the menu) and the text is blue-grey (the color the background should be). Please help.

]]>The Simple Banner does not scale correctly on iPhone. It extends the banner on one line and makes the menu and pages so small that users cannot be used. It works on laptop and iPad thou. Wonder what causes the issue please? There may be a setting that I do not know about.

]]>Hi – I have a feeling the issue might be with the theme (Acabado). I’ve spent the past 2 hours following the instructions, clearing cache, turning various other plugin settings off and on, (clearing cache over and over), and reading other threads in the forum.
This is the 3rd notification bar plugin I’m trying, so I think it’s the theme. Before I give up entirely, thought I’d try reaching out to see if you can confirm that or if there’s something else I can try.
My theme and plugins are all updated to the latest versions. I’m testing in Google Chrome regular and incognito as well as Safari, both on desktop (Mac latest Ventura OS) and mobile (iPhone latest OS).
I’m able to see the banner in the back end when I create it, it’s just not showing publicly.

I have added the Simple Banner plugin to our staging site. It appears at the top of the page and cuts our logo off. I was wondering if there’s a way to instead have it go right below our navigation menu, and stay in that placement?
I have the Prepend element set to <body> and the Simple Banner Position set to Sticky, but I don’t have anything else changed.
