The plugin output looks great, but I’m having a problem with the similarity of posts. I currently have it set to consider tags only. My problem is like this:
If Post X has tags A,B,C
and Post Y has tags A,B,C,D,E,F,G
and Post Z has tags A,F,G
then the plugin shows me that these posts are related 100%, which in the way I wrote my posts, isn’t actually true.
How can I get it to consider that only:
Post X with tags A, B, C and Post Y with tags A, B, C are 100% related?
]]>I get an error with Similarity. I haven’t noticed it Before, so I suspect it came with the latest WordPress update, 3.8.1
You can find it on one of my posts, for example https://www.dhphoto.se/2014/01/arvid-6-dagar/
The error shows at the bottom as
Notice: Undefined variable: time_difference in /storage/content/32/103332/dhphoto.se/public_html/wp-content/plugins/similarity/similarity.php on line 325 Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /storage/content/32/103332/dhphoto.se/public_html/wp-content/plugins/similarity/similarity.php on line 337
Do you have any suggestions of how to deal with this?
I tried to replace “$time_difference” with “get_option( ‘gmt_offset’ )”.
After this change the first error was gone but the second “Undefined offset: 0” was still there.
Any suggestions?

For some reason my drafts are showing up in my list of similar posts despite the fact that they’re not public. They are showing up with what appears to be an automatically generated URL (the URL of my posts is usually the title, but the URL coming up in similarity is a number).
Is anyone else having this error? Is there a way to fix it?
]]>Hi there, I would like to modify this plugin so that it doesn’t print anything after the related post’s title. If you delete all the text in the ‘Custom text for strength’ fields it will still print out ‘()’ after each post’s title.
How can I remove the parentheses?
Cheers!
]]>It would be a nice feature for a future release to exclude certain single posts from being shown in the related articles. Can that be done?
]]>Is it possible to exclude some certain post types (e.g. events, shop) from being used by Similarity to show related posts? I don’t want to have related posts shown on my shop and events pages, because I do not use tags there and even if I would, it don’t makes sense for me there. Can one help with that?
]]>Btw. and first: Nice little plugin that does it’s job. Better than most of the crap around here that just slows down your database. ??
Now to my question: Is it possible to sort the related posts in a certain order (ASC, DESC) for criteria like post-date. I would prefer to have the newest related post as the first related-post-link.
