Hello. I am trying to have the menu stay open and the submenu to open when i am clicking the title and not the caret. Caret is ok but i need the title to be clickable as well. how can i achieve this?

I have an issue related to the submenu dropdown.

It works correctly in desktop format; however, in mobile format, the dropdown does not respond.

Upon the first touch, nothing happens, the dropdown does not open, and after the second touch, it loads the link of the parent element to which the submenu is attached, but it never opens.

I have the same behavior in my mobile device (iPhone 12 using Safari)

Why could this be happening? Could you provide me with a hint on how to resolve it?

I just installed this pluging and I’m not familiarized with it.

I created a new menu with only the “Open side menu” item and placed where I want (A Divi Theme Builder Custom Header Layout).

Then I created a new menu and I started to add some Woo Commerce Product categories but nothing is showing in the side menu.

Just in case I created a custom link item and added to the menu but I have the same issue, so It seems there’s not an issue relate by the menu item type.

Checking the page with browser developer tools I realized that the items are loaded but all items have the CSS statement “display: none”.

When I go to edit the Header layout in Divi Theme Builder, the side menu opens, and here I can see all the items I added.

Why is this happening and how can I solve it?

I’m currently building a website on staging site and installed the 7-day trial SideMenu plugin. When I click on any links in main navigation menu, the text “SIDEBAR” quickly displays when transitioning to new page then goes back to hamburger menu?? Why does this happen and how can I prevent it from happening? I want to have both the main navigation menu AND SideMenu displaying without any issue. I’m hoping this can be fixed so I can purchase premium version. Please advise.

Now when click on the icon, whole site moved to left . Is there anyway to show sidebar without moving the site to left?

Is SideMenu plugins not yet compatible with OceanWP theme? I’m currently using the latest version of OceanWP and would like to try this plugin but I don’t see in the description OceanWP listed. If so, when will it added?

Changing the link font size (in ‘style’) cancels the ‘Smaller submenu items’ setting: if you enlarge the font size, then all items (parents and subitems) are changed to the new larger size. It would be nice instead to be able to enlarge all text proportionately, so submenu items are still smaller than parent items.

I’ve enabled the dropdown option for submenu options. It works great on desktop, but nothing happens when the dropdown icon is clicked on mobile devices.

I had to turn this function off to avoid disruption my users in the meantime. Would love to have this fixed.

I’ve just set up the plugin with Montesley.dk, and it seems there’s no close button for when the sidebar has been opened. Scrolling to close it works, but it’s a hassle, and not everyone knows that’s a possibility.
Please, what do I do to get the close button to show?

So let’s say I create two different menus, one with the name Menu1 and another with the name Menu2.
Now I would like to use a short code in which I select the menu (Menu1 or Menu2) to open with SideMenu.

I recently purchased the sidemenu, but i need it to stop auto opening on pages i did not place a button when i am logged in on admin

Content will not display in the SideMenu on desktop – only on mobile.

This includes Menus and widgets but both do display as intended on mobile.

Could someone please take a look at this for me because I would love to use this plugin which otherwise seems great.

Thanks for the help you gave me last, sent you a bottle o wine for the trouble. This one ought to be very brief. When you hover on the menu element which triggers a SideMenu you get a little label-box saying “Open SideMenu”. How would I go about disabling this?

SideMenu is working great! Have purchased the upgrade too.

But with the Astra theme, after the SideMenu successfully loads (it hijacks), if you close the menu with the X, then the theme’s mobile menu appears underneath.

It’s strange because there is NO mobile menu set for the theme itself. So my working theory right now is that the Sidemenu hijack is somehow triggering this other mobile menu to display.
