Hi,
First, love the plugin and STW!

On the page linked, you can see that some thumbnails have rounded corners. These images are screenshots stored in my media library (before I found this plugin).

I’ve tried wrapping divs around my shortcodes (which are run from php, if that matters?), and tried applying custom attributes to stw_thumbnail stw_embed and stw_thumbnail_wrapper to no avail.

The css I’m trying to add is:
box-shadow: 4px 4px 5px #aaa !important;
border-radius: 5px !important;
display: block !important;
margin-left: auto !important;
margin-right: 10px !important;
margin-bottom: 10px !important;

ANy ideas how I can make this work, please?

Hi.

The plugin is suddenly crashing my site. I’ve been using it for years without any problems. Now I get this error-message: “Warning: Declaration of SettingsForm::handleSave($formValues) should be compatible with EasyForm::handleSave() in /var/www/DOMAIN.COM/public_html/wp-content/plugins/shrinktheweb-website-preview-plugin/wplib/utils_settings.inc.php on line 26”

Also it messes up many of the characters on the site.

How do I fix this?

Thumbnail placement – can I change it?

I am using your plugin to display thumbnails of some of my portfolio sites in a sidebar menu – it works. However, the thumbnails show up several hundred pixels below the actual link, and those links that are lower in the menu appear to NOT have the thumbnail showing. It is showing, but it is “off the screen” and you need to scroll to see it.

Can I adjust where the thumbnail shows up so it is to the right and slightly above the link (the menu of site links is in a right hand sidebar?) Or at least have it show up immediately below the link, not so far below that it is off the screen?

Hi,
I downloaded and tested your plugin, and it looks very nice, but I need to use the PRO feature “Custom Browser Resolution” in order to make widescreen thumbnails.

In the plugin file “stw_settings_class.inc.php” I can see the term ’embedded_pro_custom_resolution’ among the other PRO features, but I don’t find anywhere to insert my values for this… Am I missing something?

I made my own shortcode for STW, but this does not download the thumbs to my site – it only makes the full STW code easier to include, and I would really like to be able to use yourplugin instead…

It seems as if the plugin works as expected, but the tooltips don’t display on my website that is running a theme based on the extremely popular Bootstrap framework. From my troubleshooting, this is because the STW tooltips are given the class “tooltip”.

This is a bad idea, as it’s such a generic class that it’s likely to interfere with lots and lots of themes, frameworks, plugins, etc. I’d suggest namescaping this somehow to something like “stw_tooltip” or similar.

Hey Dan,

I came to realize that the wp-portfolio plugin does not have an option to disable screenshot caching by supporting the embedded method. This is a feature that we have available in all other integrations. Some of our users on shared servers need to disable caching in order to use their url as a referrer instead of their IP address that may be locked to another ShrinkTheWeb account.

We’ve had this requested by several users now and wanted to touch base to see if it could be done. If we need to sponsor the new feature, just let us know the cost.

I realize the plugin doesn’t claim to be compatible with 3.5.2, but I was wondering if there might be some workaround for this error. At the moment it doesn’t seem to be impacting the plugin’s functionality, but certainly doesn’t look good. Seems to consistently disappear after a couple page refreshes, but I’d rather clients don’t see it at all.
Is this an informational error? Can I perhaps somehow instruct PHP not to show deprecation errors? :\

EDIT: Occurs in the admin dashboard when logged in, but also on the site when not logged in.

Mouse over bubble is at bottom of the website

Hi,

I’m testing the plugin. It’s working good for embedding the screenshots in pages.
But for the mouse over bubble it isn’t perfect. It does show the website, but on the bottom left of the website instead of the mouseposition. For testing you can scroll down and hover the mouse over the links just above the footer.

Can this be fixed?
