I update this page with new show images once a year, although it’s been a couple years due to covid.
I just added the top two galleries but can’t remember how to get the slider title to show.

Great slider but I\’m having big problems with sizing. The images don\’t fit in the slider div on retina screens and then the slider is oversize on a smart phone screen and then everything works on windows screens. Where is the option in menu, so I can fix it?

The website description says for carousels:
? Reverse the animation direction
? Minimum number of visible carousel items. (Default: 4)
? Maxmimum number of visible carousel items. (Default: 4)
? Width of individual carousel items.
? Number of carousel items that should move on animation.
But I can’t find these options.
Are they still there, if so, where?

Observed: when a slider is created with auto-start disabled and the play/pause button enabled, the button starts out displaying pause instead of play. When the button is clicked or a control is used to move to a different slide, the button changes to play.
Expected: the play/pause button should always display play when the slideshow is paused, and pause when the slideshow is playing.
]]>Very curious issue. I just went to edit a widget on one of my sites (something I haven’t needed to do in a few weeks) and the entire Widgets area under Appearance is missing. I see Widgets to add on the left side of that page but not the Widgets which I have set up for my site. Deactivating the Weaver Show Sliders plugin makes the Widgets reappear under Appearance. I discovered this by individually deactivating plugins. I am using a Twenty Fourteen child which is very minimally different from the standard and hasn’t been modified in about a year.
Any ideas?

]]>I just tried to install this plugin but when I attempt to activate the plugin I get the error msg: “The plugin does not have a valid header.” My WordPress, Weaver XTreme theme and all plugins are all updated. I downloaded the plugin twice to make sure that the file wasn’t corrupted. My WordPress installation is running on my Apache2 local server installed on Ubuntu 14 Gnome. Help. Thank you.

The Weaver show sliders appears to work, as expected in Apple Safari. It also works on a Google Chromebook. But it doesn’t “slide” on google chrome on my Apple MacBook Pro. I appear to have the latest version of google chrome on my Apple Laptop. Can you check it out here? Any Ideas?

I use Classipress theme where posts type is “ad_listing”.
I would like to insert a slider on the post page with the post attached images as content.
I tried to insert that : [show_slider name=default] where filter is post_type=ad_listing and post_ids=735 .. that displays the title of the post, but not any image!
I tried a lot of options .. no result
Is it possible to do that I need ?
NB : I may code a loop with url(s) of attached images..

]]>I’m having a problem with an image slider that uses the Quick Option to display a series of images taken from the gallery of a Slider Post. In Chrome and Safari it displays correct, but in Firefox 38.0.5 there is an extra space of 50px above the slider. In the Firefox element inspector I’m unable to identify the element that contributes this extra space.
If I check the box to “Allow height of the slider shrink and grow to match slide height”, the slider works the same on all three browsers. However, when the page first renders, the next and previous buttons and paging dots are at the top of the slider. Only when the first transition begins do they drop down to the middle and bottom of the slider where they belong.
If I manually set the height of .atwkslider the problem goes away, but then the slider is no longer responsive.

It slides fine, but:
I’ve checkmarked the Theme-Header-Option “Header Image Links to Site”.
but I cannot define a link to my Startpage, wether on the Image nor in the post. Have I overlooked something, or is it impossible for now?

I would like to have 3 different show sliders on 1 horizontal line. Is it possible? I’m not clear on how to make a slider smaller.
]]>I’d really like to try your slider for this, but the instructions are not at all clear. I think some screen shots or other visual aids would be a big help, if only because the language for the different elements is so similar that I am still finding myself making all of the wrong guesses. The main thing I want to do is add a slider to just the home page, then just static banner images to individual pages.
In spite of having the settings set for a static Home page, if I use the WP interface to create the Home page slider and insert that shortcode I immediately get the “Hello World” post—but no slider. If I try the other shortcode I either get the “Hello World” again or an error message saying it is not set up properly. Either way, I definitely don’t want the post, so maybe what you are offering won’t be a fit. Again, screenshots would help.
If you can provide some guidance it would be great. It is unfortunate that since I only want it on the Home page, the header.php option isn’t a fit. I’m not going to leave the site link because I will be continuing to sample other sliders. If I know when you will be looking I would be happy to share it. I just can’t wait knowing it could be days or weeks before a response. Thanks…
]]>I am able to assign slider posts to a custom group in the Slider Posts plugin. However, when I try to use that group as the filter in the Show Sliders / Filter tab, I run into issues. The little drop-down box in the Slider Group panel is always empty. Never does show the group I created in the Slider Posts plugin. Running a preview of my WP post for the slider briefly pops up a “Posts not found” error message, and all I get where I would expect to see the slider is a thin horizontal line.
