first of all: congrats for this straight forward plugin! Awesome!
it seems you are using the standard categories for your plugin. if i call up my blog page, at least i see my shop page categories as well BUT if i click one the regular blog turns up with a search (sorry could not find) instead the shop page.
do i do something wrong?
can one hide your categories from the regular ones? better would be how can i get it to work?

Really love this plugin and hope it’s still being supported. I’m trying to figure out how I can match the style of the Shop WP Plugin to LikeToKnow styling so it is standard across the site. I tried using Pods and figured out the CSS styling that I would need, but it’s not as user-friendly as Shop WP.

Does anyone have an idea about where I could add the container and create a Hover box with the Brand/Price info? I’ve added the CSS already, but not sure where I should add the newly created classes/divs, etc. so it will actually read and translate to the site. I’ve looked at the php files, but I can’t seem to find a place that it would make sense to add these. I’m a newb with all this so any help is much appreciated!

On the other hand when I put them in the title it does not work, it is only text.

Firstly, I LOVE this plugin! Of course my 5-Star Review in already there on the Ratings Page from a few years back. Can’t thank enough for this plugin!

I write in hopes that some future update may see the following…
I want to use in tandem, a “Tabs plugin” along with Shop Page WP,
The only thing holding be back from doing so is the fact that I would have to create New Categories in WordPress an take the risk, on a very well established site, of having Google ignore the no-follow directives for newly created Categories and killing my SEO and/or the first impressions in search results.

My idea is instead of creating categories for shortcode, give the user a checkbox in the Editor for “All Products”, “Add New Products” that would allow us to “Create new Shortcode” and “Use Existing Shortcode”

This would/should allow us to create a new shortcode to display certain products on different pages or in my case, different products in respective “Tabs” without the need to create New Categories.

Not a developer by any means so I hope my suggestion makes sense.

Again, love this plugin! And thanks for taking the time with me here.

I use this plugin for a while now and I think there is a thing that can be done to improve its usability and ease user life. I’m thinking about a status active/ inactive for a product. Basically, when an advertiser is stopping its affiliate program, the affiliate can easily adapt by disabling those products which are no longer part of an affiliate program. Another option is for the disabled products to automatically change the affiliate link with a homepage link (in order to avoid 404 errors and so on).

I downloaded the plugin, made my page, and started adding products. I made sure to choose a category and upload a featured image. I am using amazon links. My page doesn’t show the image (only “image coming soon”) and only shows the first product I added, not the other 2. I’ve published all 3, chosen a category, and added an image.

What do I do now???

Hello, I am having some trouble setting up the layout. It’s only displaying one column and some of the products I would like to display aren’t showing. I’m not sure how to get them to display in a grid form in multiple columns. I have tried changing the columns to 2, 3, and 4 and it is still only displaying in one column not displaying all products. Reason I am writing is my sole page loading Shop Page WP is the only page/post on my site that does not Lazy Load images under the fold. Is the page loading your plugin fast? Extremely! But being the optimization “Nut” that I am, I only wish I could do more with this page.

I understand Shop Page WP sets Product image from WordPress core Add Featured Image but my hopes are that in some future update, users will be able to set loading=”lazy” manually or automatically for Products below the fold.

The columns are 3 and the products are not displayed
on the left and right sides of the bottom row only.

I am currently using the extension “Ajax Search Lite” as search bar.

I would like to know if it is possible to get search results linking directly to the affiliate links of each products, not the product page links?

For example, for the first product the search result is linking to : mywebsite.com/shop-page/product_page/

And I would like the search results to go directly to the product affiliate URL.

Guys from “Ajax Search Lite” tried to help me out, but I would need your help to know what is the exact “affiliate_url” custom field.

Hi everyone – as the title of my post states, is it possible when clicking on a products “title” it links to a blog post rather than an external affiliate link? If so, how can this be done?

I’ve tried adding my blog post URL to the affiliate URL, which works, but it also changes the URL when clicking the “view on amazon” button.

We created a new shop on the site yesterday, but the shortcode displays all of the products we’ve used on the site over the last year or so, instead of limiting them to the category.

This now happens with any new category that I create. It also happens if I add individual product numbers to a shortcode.

Any ideas about why this would happen. We did recently update to the latest WordPress version (5.7.1)

Hi! Really liking this plug in so far. I’d like to change the button color and hover color to be more consistent with the branding on my site, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I tried adding CSS code to the actual page where I intend to place the Shop Page WP shortcode, but it’s not having any effect on what’s inside the plugin. Is there a way to do that?

*Not sure if it matters but I’m a WordPress.com Business customer, not a self-hosted www.remarpro.com…so if the solution is anything related to changing php code on my end I probably can’t do it. Thanks in advance!
