Hi,

I see a number of people cannot share image on Whatsapp – I have the latest plugin version and only the URL shows up not the image. This is both on mobile and Whatsapp desktop app.

If I paste the same image link into Whatsapp, the preview works fine. I tried the suggested code snippet below, but this hasn’t worked.

Is this possible to fix where the image preview shows when sharing?

Hi and thanks for the plugin.

I have an image on a quiz (watu quiz) result page I want to make shareable. On desktop it works fine, but on mobile there′s no share-button. It′s not hidden; the whole <div id=”sti-mobile-btn-1″.. is missing.

I tested on an image on a regular page and there it works, #sti-mobile-btn-1 is located right under the <img> tag.

The only difference I could see in the html – compared to the image on the regular page – is that the watu quiz editor wraps the image in <p>-tags. Is that a problem??

Hi,

I enabled the sharing option for Pinterest and WhatsApp on all posts with custom post type /g/ (e.g. https://allesgute.info/g/geburtstagswuensche-lustig/). When hovering on the images, the buttons show up. Sharing works with WhatsApp, but when trying to share an image on Pinterest there comes always an error.

I am using that plugin on another website too, there it works fine, but I did not do anything different.

The only difference is that I do not use custom post types on the other website (Plugin CPT UI) (and I am using another theme).

Do you know how I can solve the error?

The Facebook Share Button is not working on the 1st Team All Conference Image. When clicked I get the message, “User opted out of platform: The action attempted is disallowed, because the user has opted out of Facebook platform.”

hi , on desktop the plugin works well but on mobile i get the share icon and when i press i over to the next pic whitout getting the share buttons

Hi there i got problem where plugin for facebook sharing works only on some images on landing page (like it works on 30 out of 60 cause page is created like a gallery)

The help page for Facebook app connection is out of date.

FB seems to have much more complex requirements now.

Edit: I was able to target specific images by URL. No other rule combination seemed to work.

I installed this plugin and it did immediately apply itself to all images.

I changed the rules to just the page https://pool.unsyncablefilm.com/social-assets/ and it did add buttons to all images on the page.

When I tried to target specific images, it doesnt add buttons to anything on the page.

I have tried several combinations of rules but I cant get it to work.

Exactly what rule combination would be set to target a specific image? I read the help page but it seems to suggest what didnt work.

when i share the Image on Facebook there is only the Link to the Picture but not the complete Picture

I am testing the free plugin to see if it will work for us before purchasing. The Facebook Share works as expected showing the image, title and description. The Linkedin share only uses the custom url and doesn’t show the title or image. LinkedIn is the most important network for us. Is there something extra I have to do for LinkedIn or does it require the paid plugin to get the full share.

We are trying to share a Square Image on our Website to Facebook. 

But, Facebook is cropping it from the Top & Bottom, so the entire image is not visible on Facebook. 

What is the solution to that?

Hi.
I installed the plugin, but when i want to share a image, i click on the image to see a big version, and then i clik on the messenger icon and fill out the boxes.
The message in messenger is just show as a very lange link, without the photo.

When trying to send in messenger message looks like:

Thank you for this plugin.

I use it to share events (custom posts) that are listed on my website.
I added the shortcode directly in the theme files:

It works well on desktop.
On mobile, the share buttons are displayed fine but when I click on them, nothing happens. I tested on an android phone.
Do you know why ?

GIF not working and displaying when shared

The gmail option does not work when you try to share an image using mobile.
How can it be fixed ?

When I try to share an image in Pinterest I get this error message
“Sorry. An error has occurred. Make sure the URL is correct and try again.”.
How can I solve that?

But, its not working again. Sharing images from WhatsApp only shows the image url and not the image itself. Tried all formats and multiple devices.

The plugin works well on small sites, but on large sites, when choosing where to show icons, there is an endless loading, then the plugin breaks.

The plugin is great, congratulations.

I am using a free version of the plugin along with the Simple Lightbox plugin. The desktop version displays the sharing social buttons, both on the images themselves and on click and zoom.

In the mobile version, the buttons are on the image itself but are not displayed when you click on the image itself and enlarge it.

Is this a bug or an option that is only available in the paid version of the plugin?

I am unable to add hashtags after sharing the post or image using this plugin. I am able to see the # in the custom description in the wordpress cms, but these hastags do not appear after sharing the image. Please help.

Hi, your plugin is really great!…exactly what I needed. I have it all set up and working correctly, but I’m noticing that sharing to Twitter clips the top and bottom of each image. Here is an example.

This seems to be something on the Twitter end. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this?
