Hello,
On my podcast https://vollmeta.de the links to speakers do not work. With some speakers the link does work, with others it doesn’t. E.g. https://vollmeta.de/speaker/christoph-ahrweiler/ is not working, although I have correctly created this speaker and assigned him to an episode.
I already contacted Castos support with screenshots and they told me to post it here.
Thanks for your help
Daniel

can someone tell me how to create a speaker as “Podcast Manager”?
Apparently I can only do this with the admin account.

Is this plugin abandoned?
]]>Hi!
How could I change the speakers taxonomy slug and name?
I found this code for changing the podcast archive slug but I couldn’t do the same for speakers:
add_filter( 'ssp_archive_slug', 'ssp_modify_podcast_archive_slug' );
function ssp_modify_podcast_archive_slug ( $slug ) {
return 'new-slug';
}
Thanks in advance!
]]>Hi all,
Is there a way:
I know this is not available out of the box but I was wondering if I can utilize other tools/plugins to achieve that.
Thanks!
]]>Hi, I’d like to make a page with all my podcast speakers/guests, is there a shortcode to display all of them? I just need a list of names with links to their separate pages.
By the way, I already know how to change the label for ‘speakers’ to ‘guests’, but is there a way to change this part of url from “/speaker/” to “/guest/”?
best,
Kaja
Hello –
I recently integrated Chartable using the new features of SSP Stats, and what I’m seeing is that the numbers don’t agree at all. I’m wondering if Stats is counting a lot of bots and other junk that Chartable, being IAB compliant, rejects.
Here are some links to images of the issues I’m seeing:
Chartable’s count of the lifetime listens for my most recent episode:
https://www.evernote.com/l/AJPDg_bcUQ5Krqc5FdGpQ_tX91b9sCdQHVUB/image.png
SSP Stats count of lifetime listens:
https://www.evernote.com/l/AJOG13Jbf81JV4i3Aq67FOEBNfw18qpdWYUB/image.png
So you can see Chartable sees 14 downloads, whereas Stats shows 50 Lifetime.
It sort of makes it hard to know if any of my podcast marketing is working. ??

]]>Hi guys , I was looking for a way to show the speaker list on a new line , instead of showing next to “download | Duration | Speakers” on each post of the frontpage
]]>The podcast series taxonomy seems to work fine if you enable the Gutenberg preview, but the speakers taxonomy doesn’t show up anywhere.
]]>I like being able to add speakers to podcast episodes, but I would also like to add them as multiple authors of the podcast. These podcasts aren’t showing up when I search for content produced by them:
Author Page:
https://jh.warriornews.net/author/reena-kim/
Podcast:
https://jh.warriornews.net/podcast/episode-3-takano-talks/
Is there a way I can list all the podcasts alphabetically by speaker name?
I don’t even need the other meta, just the speakers name and when clicked it opens to the correct post
Hi using Simply Simple Speakers and the links on speakers are redirecting to a page that says “OOPS! THAT PAGE CAN’T BE FOUND”
My website is https://twonatesonsports.com/
Thanks.
]]>I have found the information on changing the speakers label to guest. What I am now curious about is if there is a way to segment the participants further. I would like to have a specific person as the host (ours changes on occassion) and then list the Guests after that. However I would still like the great function of being able to click on the name and bring up their information to be available.
Is that possible?
]]>I’m working on a site where we use Posts (instead of the Podcast post type) for episodes.
Speakers (I renamed them Guests — thanks for that code) show up perfectly as part of the podcast meta text. But when you click on their linked names, it doesn’t work.
Any way I can get that working?
