Went to PageSpeed Insights to have them check the site for speed and seo, which returned a ‘no downloadable robots.txt’ file. The one on the site was created by SEO ultimate by its deep link mask generator. I wrote my own robots.txt file and uploaded it straight to the file manager via ftp, and my SEO went from 76 to 85 immediately. I can’t find a way to adjust this very basic feature in the plugin itself. Any ideas?

I manage a blog focused on an e-learning website. As I cover the same course topics fairly often, I use Deeplink Juggernaut to make it easy to add links to articles.
However, I’ve noticed recently that the newer keywords I’ve added – and just the newer ones, rather than those which have been around for years – are not work properly. That is to say, Deeplink Juggernaut is not adding the appropriate links when the keywords appear in articles.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some kind of limit on how many keywords you can add? I’d greatly appreciate any advice.

]]>Obviously SEO Ultimate won’t be updated any time soon. I hope the author is doing well. If you want to save your current SEO data you can migrate it over with the SEO Data Transporter plugin. Install and active it.

Then download and install your new SEO plugin – say the Yoast SEO plugin.
Then go to tools / SEO Data Transporter and follow the instructions.
Works like a charm.
You will have to go through your new plugin’s SEO settings to ensure everything is in check.
A good idea is to backup your site titles and meta descriptions so you can compare them to the new settings.
Screaming Frog will help with that.
]]>As someone below has pointed out, complete silence…after having to update data to fit in the rich snippet format (migration process was mostly manual and time-consuming), this is really frustrating.
New licenses were being marketed early January, I still had replies from Jeffrey until May 2020 and then nothing.
When the plugin worked, it was fine, I never felt the need for Yoast..
It really seems like nobody at their support is reading any kind of support request.

At this time, if you try to modify a woocommerce product, you won’t see the tabs for variations, etc. You need to disable SEO Ultimate pro plugin….
I wish they would at least be transparent on what is going on!

I changed the content of the Social Network Listing, however, the content does not change. When I want to send an e-mail for example with that website URL, I still get the old website description and an old picture. We recently started to use the code inserter feature since a HTML code inserter program we used for years is dead now.
So how to I control where the insered codes go?
Example
Show on pages or posts or products.
It should be able to include or exclude by type of page.
Or how to not insert on a specific page, an exclude.
Problem with this feature is full with sliders are normal today on main nav pages, and this code inserter makes sliders drop below the code.
Sure I can drop slider into code inserter but we don’t want huge sliders the top of every page.
So can SEO ult handle this code inserter issue.
If not, anyone know of a HTML code inserter plugin that has such ability to say what types of pages get the code
