The Meta Description for my website is being picked as the first line of each page, instead of my customized description.
I have verified its not a google problem by checking the “source information”.
Example: My page url: https://trekkipedia.in/ladakh-travel-guide/
Yoast description entered by me is :
Ladakh Travel Guide: LehLadakh permits, roads, travel cost, trek routes, ladakh sightseeing.
Google’s meta description is :
Travel to Ladakh- the Ladakh Travel Guide -How to Reach Ladakh by road Ladakh can be reached by road from Manali as well as Srinagar. Both routes are roughly the same distance, around 450km”

]]>Faison – it looks like a terrific plugin and something that I can certainly use but I am a little apprehensive about installing it.
Are there any known conflicts with other plugins?
Does the plugin use a lot of memory.
Would I be able to activate to edit titles and then deactivate until I need it again.
I am using an older theme that has been fully modified to work with the latest WP so I just wanted to get some insight from you first.
I’ve installed the plugin, but it’s not showing in the menu bar.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Howdy,
I have used your plug-in before and it worked perfectly.
I installed it to my newest client’s site (local only) and have hit a critical error. I tested out the plug-in on one post only – in this case the post titles was “2020”. Went to the Bulk Title portion of the plug-in. entered my SEO title, saved and viewed the page only to get a 404 error.
No problem, I thought. Did some investigating, resaved permalinks, etc, but still no fix. So deactivated the plugin and I was STILL getting a 404 error..What?
Went to the post directly. It was still there. URL was correct. Everything checked out.
In the end I was never able to get that one post to work again. I even deleted the post and re built it. I STILL had a 404 error. WTF??? Deleted the plugin and still no success.
So I concluded that post must have been corrupted in the database because I can not make a totally new post with title 2020 as it gets a 404 error.
What do you think?
]]>This plugin would be totally awesome if it could be installed without Yoast which is big and has many features which people don’t even want. Your bulk feature is fantastic enough to stand on it’s own, of possible!
]]>any way you can add bulk edit for focus keyword
]]>I have 500+ posts that go back 5 years. I need to sort the list by date so that I can edit the more recent posts first. I just did the titles and it took me hours because they were roughly alphabetical
]]>in the bulk title editior and bulk description editior every page (i have no categories or posts) is listed twice and i don’t really know why. On other wp-sites i installed i have no such problems.
]]>Hi,
Existing SEO titles not showing on bulk edit page. SEO descriptions are showing fine on description bulk edit page.
Feature request: Filter by category on bulk edit pages?
Many thanks
]]>After the last update of the WordPress SEO by Yoast SEO plugin 1.4.13 The Extended stopped working. I reinstalled the plugin but it did not work.
Any suggestions?
