Plugin fails to update. Posts not going out to mail list when a new post is added to the blog.

I have this plugin (paid version) on a customer’s site and there is absolutely NO support. I know they are getting the email because there’s a tracker on it. So, the bottom line is they ignore support requests.

Uuuuy!!! Sendpress does not register “spam or complaints”.
Register only in Newsletter statistics (opens, clicks, unsubscribes), no complaints.

I have “SendPress” and “WPNewsman” installed. I am evaluating both plugin before purchase.
Why is SMTP so limited?
Why do I have to install another plugin, like postman smtp, to send me a test. Bad because of that.
Because the template editor does not have the html added. What the devil do they fear?
I can accept that the automated “Bounce” is only installed in the pro version, but it is a mistake to limit the html and smtp ..

I prefer the “plugin” to 1000 subscribers, but do not remove the HTML editor, or SMTP.

I’ve tried quite a few of these things and they all have limitations however this one is by far the best. I want to ensure my users don’t mess with the template, send their mails out and remain brand compliant. This plugin is best for that. Some possible suggestions:
– I’d like to be able to change the social icons
– I’d like to restrict access to the templates

I’ve done both of these myself but it did mean I had to hack the plugin code (which I hate doing because of the risk of losing it with updating). Anyway, love it and the feedback fro our users has been very positive.

Works just fine in a WP Multi-site environment as well!

Nice interface, decent amount of features, but a complete lack of form options. Only a standard, very basic form is available. Makes it unusable for me. I need complete control over my signup form.

It seems that this plugin is indeed complete.

There are two issues, which I see:
1. The AutoCron is misleading or I do something wrong. It’s not clear if you need a paid version or the free version. Anyway, it doesn’t work in the free version.
2. The newsletter editor is a normal WP editor. Those templates are weak and actually not clear what it means.

For the rest (it’s a bit slow), this plugin is an excellent plugin for newsletters.

This was a great plugin until very recently when I noticed, the message “You’ve already signed up, Thanks” constantly displaying on the signup form. I give it a five star when the bug is removed.

We are a WordPress theme development company and were looking for email marketing WordPress plugin to send out newsletters to our customers. Our requirement was ease of use and great functionality. Came across SendPress and we were extremely pleased with the ease of use. It has an intuitive UI and working with it is absolutely amazing. Add-on services are also awesome. We will purchase them for sure once we feel there is a need for us. Customer for life. Thanks SendPress for making email marketing easy.

I’ve been using it for a short time but I really like the simplicity of doing everything from my wordpress panel and using my existing gmail. It’s a perfect setup for the small personal blog that I’m managing. Esp loved the seamless experience with Postman.

This used to be an excellent tool. I used it every few months to send out between 400 and 900 newsletters.

As of the latest version, you no longer know what it has sent and what it hasn’t, nor according to what algorithm it sends (or does not send) your emails. In addition, instead of saying openly on the splash page “SENDPRESS IS NOW PAYING ONLY”, you have a misleading little message that only comes up when you try to complete your mail send – i.e. right at the end of the process:

“Oh snap! It looks like AutoCron was not enabled or it disconnected itself. To get max send speed please re-enable it here.”

On snap, my arse! What this really means is “Click here and pay us some money for the Pro version, otherwise nothing will ever work again and you won’t know why”. Nothing is more vile than this kind of pretense, and I refuse to have anything more to do with this company.

If this is the only way you can get customers, things must really be going badly with the company.

I just used SP for the first time in a few months (biz changes) and I really love the update to the email compose area. A lot cleaner…just like creating a post. I’ve installed SP on all of my sites and all of my client’s sites since 2013. Still waiting on the AR feature before I go PRO, though.

They don’t charge for your database, whereas MailPoet charge you (very expensive) if your database exceed 2000 subscribers. Avoid Mailpoet.
There is another very cool plugin that does the job very well. It’s simply called Newsletter and has more than 1 000 000 downloaders with 5 stars reviews ??

Go to sendpress website. They charge. Who every I read for the other newsletter plugin MailPoet, and said this one was free unlimited emails is wrong. I did not even have to install the plugin to see that. Darn email marketing companies charge an arm and a leg to use a newsletter on the website.

This is really a nice plugin. I was searcing an email marketing plugin and I found this plugin. This plugin has all I want. I have use this plugin for my web hosting company website: https://cyberdeveloperbd.com/ and Marketing for Web hosting offer, Domain Offer and more.
But I need some help from any one. I want to add email Template here. I found a folder named Template on this plugin directory. I copied the HTML template there. But the template not working. Now how can I use Email Template here?

Does the job, simple, well integrated, easy to configure.

It works perfectly well combined with MailGun using the smtp mode.

There is just a bug with my installation of wordpress and french translation : I needed to rename sendpress-fr.mo to sendpress-fr_FR.mo to get it work properly.

I’m using WordPress 4.0 & Polylang 1.5.6 for translation.

This is by far the worst email marketing plugin I have tried.

I’ve had it installed for over a month and although Doug is very responsive and helpful where he can be, I have not been able to send out a single email campaign without major problems the entire time. I couldn’t count on 2 hands the amount of show stopping problems that have stopped me from sending out bulk emails to my subscribers.

I would steer clear from this plugin and try Newsletter or Mail Poet instead, far more user friendly and functional.
