Is it possible to modify the reply address in the global settings so that the reply to email address can be changed to whoever is sending the email. Currently anyone that replies to an email is sending it to the global address in the settings rather than the person who is sending the email.

I am testing out this amazing plugin, it is truly fantastic and has lots of features and is very useful.
I know there is an email log. I did a test where I set the “from” and “reply” email address in the plugin settings to a disposable email address as opposed to my real email address since I am emailing test users with public disposable email addresses that anyone can see and I didn’t want to reveal my real email address. Then I sent an email to selected users (they are test users with disposable email addresses). The email was not received, but it was logged in the email logs as “EMAIL SENT”. When I changed the “from” and “reply” email address in the plugin settings to my real email address, the test users received the test emails (then I deleted them immediately so people can’t see my real email address).
This begs a question:
SMTP often have a limit on how many emails they allow you to send in a given time period. Now, I am not a developer so please alllow me to ask a question: does this plugin rely on an SMTP to send the emails (I don’t currently have an SMTP installed since all the plugins I use send their own emails just fine)? What I am fearing is this: suppose I have a lot of users and there is a limit to how many emails I can send in an hour and it is less than the number of users I need to send emails to. I select all the users that I need to send emails to, click “send”, and it gets logged as “EMAIL SENT” by the plugin, when in actual fact it was not received by some of the users. I guess I would never know who didn’t receive the emails and those people would never get the message since I won’t know to send emails to them again in an hour after the hypothetical SMTP limit resets.
So I am wondering how I can know if the emails were actually received.

I am using Brevo as SMPT, and I have sent email to all of my customers yesterday.
Every member received the messages 14 times till I had to stop my SMTP mailing.
I don’t know why this happened, but it cost me 74000 email instead of 5000.

]]>I am having an issue when it comes to your plugin and our existing plugin setup. Send User Emails is conflicting with our Sub Account plugin: https://woo.com/products/subaccounts-multi-user-accounts/ .
When Sub Accounts is active along with Send User Emails, multiple back end .php pages produce 404s.
For example when both are activated, Dashboard>Plugins results in a 404.
Any help with this would be wonderful as your plugin is exactly what we are looking for in regards to notifying our subscription customers about service interruptions.
I would like (and expected) it to use the name and email address of the currently logged in user for the sender details. But if I leave the fixed “Email From/Reply-To Name” and “Email From Address” empty in the settings, it defaults to the “WordPress” as name and [email protected] as email address. Can this be changed so that it uses the currently logged in user details?

]]>I am testing email all users. I am getting this error when trying to email all users and also roles “SMTP Error: data not accepted. I am using fluent SMTP and randomly I get this error from certain users when they are trying to reset passwords as I am testing membership site. { “code”: 423, “message”: “SMTP Error: data not accepted.”, “errors”: [ “SMTP Error: data not accepted.” ] } I am using my own domain email for the SMTP authentication. I have tried others as well, I can test the email process and it shows works successfully. I am reluctant to move to the pro version if I cannot guarantee mail delivery. I have also tried wp smtp. do you have any thoughts on this?

Lovely plugin!
Recently, I am seeing an error “Oops! Something went wrong!” when sending email. The emails are plain text without any images or attachments. We are sending approx. 400 emails out of which around 110-120 emails are sent and then we get the above error message. The logs also don’t show anything about it.
We are using Amazon SES and connected via API with pretty good sending limits so there are no issues there. When sending through other services, the emails are sent perfectly fine.
We have even tried increasing the PHP max_execution_time but the result is the same.
What could be causing the issue? Any pointers?

When using the ‘Email Users’ option, would it be possible to filter the list by role?
In my case, I would like to remove users with ‘No_role’ so there is not even the option to select them from this list.
