I realize this plugin has not been updated in quite some time, but my client wants the functionality of sending posts to Kindle, and I can’t find anything else that really comes close.
I successfully have it displaying a preview of what it will send to Kindle, but the “Send” button just displays “Sending Content” spinning indefinitely and it never sends. Is this plugin no longer working? What is preventing the content from being sent?
]]>The plugin appears to have stopped working in the last couple of days. I am starting to get complaints from regular users.
You can click on the option alright and get to loging to the amazon account, but then you get brought to an Amazon URL: in my case – https://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle/widget-popup?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shortkidstories.com%2Fstory%2Fjack-beanstalk%2F
and there is a message “Waiting for content” and it just hangs.
Any ideas?
]]>When using Android’s default web browser, this plugin does not work. An error message shows saying it’s not compatible with the browser.
]]>Hi there, I love the idea of the plugin but I can’t get it to work correctly on my German blog. The pictures in the posts are correctly displayed in the preview window but are then missing on my Kindle. All special German characters (like ?, ?, ü, ?) are completely distorted on the Kindle (again, everything looks still ok in the preview). Had to hide the button again. Please advise how to cope with these problems. Thank you!

]]>Monitoring my error_log a bit closer I’m seeing this error:
PHP Strict Standards: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method Share_Kindle::inject_service() should not be called statically in /home/user/public_html/blog/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 173
I appreciate that this is a PHP Strict Standard, but it should still be addressed as an issue.

Hi,
First, I’ve translated this Plugin in Japanese.
Please include these language files in your next release.
https://www.extendwings.com/wp-content/plugins/send-to-kindle/languages/kindle-ja.po
https://www.extendwings.com/wp-content/plugins/send-to-kindle/languages/kindle-ja.mo
Second, I found a bug about l10n.
After I put Japanese language file, “Look and Feel” page and “Advanced” page was printed in English! Please fix this bug.
Thanks!
]]>Hi
I haven’t downloaded the Send to Kindle button yet but wanted to ask a question of those people who have.
Does the widget provide you with the number of people who have used the button? Or any other data?
Thanks
]]>It has come to our attention that after updating to version 1.0.3 you are likely to see the following error:
The plugin
send-to-kindle/sendtokindle.php
has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.
One of the changes in this update was a minor file reorganization, which unfortunately causes WordPress to think the Send to Kindle plugin has disappeared. The good news is your plugin and all of its settings are still there. Just go to your plugins list and click “Activate” and everything will be working normally again.
There is no bad news. Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone!
]]>Plugin works great on my site however the icon and “Send to Kindle” show up in my RSS feed but don’t work. Can I either get it to work in the RSS feed or turn it off in the RSS feed? Thanks.
]]>Tonight I updated the plugin to the latest version from within WordPress dashboard, and after it installed, I clicked ‘return to plugins page’ and at the top there was a warning saying that the plugin directory could not be found and so it was deleted.
I went to the WordPress plugin page for Send To Kindle and it states that I have the latest version installed.
I deleted and re-installed the plugin using my FTP client, and still nothing.
Is there a simple solution to this? First time I’ve ever had a plugin basically delete itself upon update ??

I’m sorry if the exclusion of Opera support was mentioned elsewhere. If it isn’t, it probably should be!
Thank you.

]]>I′ve installed version 1.0.2 and it works fine for me. Thanks a lot ;-). There′s one thing I′d really like to change: Links *within* the document are converted to external links. Therefore, footnotes (links to the bottom of the post with a link back at the footnote) do not really work. Any links within the document become external links, when you open a footnote link (internal to the actual document), the Kindle tries to open the original URL using a web browser.
]]>I found another issue.
There is a Problem displaying the Content, which is send by the plugin, at kindle touch.
My kindle touch have the latest Firmware (5.3.2.1). If i send Content with the plugin to the device, the os sometime crashes or cannot Display it all. In Addition every Action is very slow.
I tested the plugin at timemagazine (os crashes) and i tested my own Webseite (not every Content displayes). At my Website the Content is very easy and includes only regular paragraphs.
Please see here: https://www.unmus.de/musik-aus-der-wolke/
If I send Content to other kindle Clients (iPad, iPhone), everything works fine.
But I can not say, if this is an plugin-issue or an kindle-touch issue.
I installed the plugin and it works fine in Firefox. I’m wondering, though is there a way to track how many people use this?
If not, is there a way to access the generated code to add Google Analytics Goal Tracking code?

The plugin seeems not to be working with Internet Explorer 10. The Button will be displayed correctly, but selecting it, nothing happen.
I tried several wordpress themes, but it is always the same. Other Browsers have no Problems.

I’ve tried this on our blog – but when I provide the details of my Kindle (which is registered with amazon.co.uk) the response is that I have no Kindle registered.
I’m guessing that the code only queries for Kindles registered with amazon.com?
If so this is something I would like to see you fix as quickly as possible; without international support it’s pretty much useless for us and I can’t use it.
Be great to get some insight from you re: when you might be able to support International users.
]]>When I click the installed Send to Kindle button on a post at my blog, the author field shows up as the URL of my blog, “www.thekindlechronicles.com,” instead of my name, Len Edgerly.
