“Please also keep in mind that WordPress 5.1 will most likely have it’s own dedicated System Info screen, which might make this plugin absolete. That’s honestly good news.”
No no no, pls don’t say that.
At least your plugin has very handly info export to the text format, that WordPress has not. It is very useful for tech support. I hope you will find time…
]]>I have been recommending this plugin to my users.
Will it be maintained going forward?
Will the 1.4 branch be released?
Will the other issues on GitHub be addressed?
If so, any idea when?
If not, may I adopt it?
Thanks,
Chris
Using PHP 7.0.25
After installing I get the following (it is only a partially visible message. ” same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP”…. the plugin seems to work but get this message.
UPDATE 11/29/17 : Looks like the plugin is preventing me from logging into the site. Had to manually delete to access my site.
Thanks,
Bob
I just adopted this plugin from John Reagan. It had gone unmaintained for several years, but I find it highly valuable. I already made the following updates to it:
1. New tabbed interface and improved UI
2. Added the ability to delete the generated URL
3. New filters so plugin authors can hook into the views
If you have other feature requests I’d love to hear them here or over on Github
]]>Love your plugin, it’s sooo useful for doing support for our plugins.
One feature request is to check for the cURL version number rather than just “supported/not supported”. That would be helpful since older versions of cURL don’t support modern coding practices.
Thanks!
]]>The active plugins are not showing up in the system info link.
Here is my link. https://northgateministry.com/?system_info=fc8qPWbfzQFr9OBQ5ZKCWFFSG59X6E9c
It should show the plugins at the bottom but it is not. It shows the plugins in the preview in the settings page but it doesn’t any where else.
]]>When I visit the random URL generated for the system settings I see: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_plugins() in C:\Users\Devin\Dropbox\Sites\givedev.dev\wp-content\plugins\send-system-info\views\output.php on line 74
Any ideas?
