I am new to programming in wordpress.. What file exactly, and where in that file exactly, does one put that line?

I am getting a failure on the W3C validation page, it says this.

Line 2, Column 2647: The text content of element script was not in the required format: Expected space, tab, newline, or slash but found { instead.

I wonder if you could fix this small error for the next release of the plugin.
