Hello can you tell me how I can remove the order by dropdown box from the page? I am only selling one download and don’t need that on the page. Thank you!

My testers are telling me there is no space for the coupon code to be entered. How do I make sure that is showing up at the checkout? Can I assign a specific code to just one download? I don’t want them to be able to use them on anything, just what is available that month.

Also – one of my testers went ahead and paid. She got confirmation from Paypal – as did I. But she has not gotten anything sent to her to download.

When I installed the Sell Downloads plugin the owner hadn’t set-up a PayPal account so that information wasn’t set-up in the plugin. At that time I don’t remember that anyone could download any song from the … menu to the right of the audio track. Is there a way to disable downloads and only play songs from the website?

I couldn’t find the setting, but how do you make an item available to the first sale only. After the first sale, the item should disappear from the sell page.

Does the plugin work with multisites?
If so, are there any restrictions when it operates on multisite?

With only 500 installations, I am assuming this is a relatively new plugin?

if the plugin is great, I didn’t find the way to put, at the botton of the description, the same buy button and buy informations that appears on the top of the published product.

I’d like to have it on the top, but also at the bottom, after all the description.

How can I do that?

Looks like you added two new columns to the msdb_post_data table.
is_single tinyint NOT NULL default(0)
individually tinyint NOT NULL default(1)

After updating plugin, you can no longer save the page with settings (price, etc).
PHP error log indicates lack of column.
GREP of code locates sell-downloads.php line #592, which contains the schema.

Had to manually add the columns to my database table to resolve.

I have a little download area. Pay with paypal, all works fine.
The buyer received a link – all ok. BUT: The link go to the product list on the page, no download, nothing happen…

What can i doo?

The buyer cannot download since it reads: “The purchase ID has not been registered yet, or the purchase id is invalid. Please, try again in 3 minutes.”

And no link to download shown.!

I set a product to download from drop. It was successful however after download it tells me the filetype wont play. Any ideas?

I have the IPN setup correctly I believe – completed a sale – and all notifications came through properly. However – the page that Paypal returned me too after the purchase – was the Download Your Products page – but did not contain a link to download.

When I received the confirmation email of the sale – it did contain a Download link – and it did go to the Download page and DID have the correct link to download the file that I had purchased.

I guess if it goes somewhere in the PHP source it should probably look something like this:

This plugin works fine with most browsers. However, in Windows Internet Explorer the ‘Add to cart’ buttons do not work. This costs me customers. Is there any way this can be solved?

Is that possible to play the video in download page (not only show the download link)?

In sd-functions.php, i changed the code :

It seems work, but only for small size video. Big size (like 50M) doesn’t work. What should i do?

is there any size limite for the product size (like 100M, 1G)? And how to change the limite?

– this problem just happens on desktop (mobile works well).
– i use firefox, chrome and opera, problem always happens.

I have a simple layout issue with the sell-downloads plug-in. This is probably related also the theme used, but I didn’t find a way to workaround this. The issue is quite simple: the “Pay Now” magnified so that it takes a maximum space to the right margin. So it is maybe 40 times bigger than expected, which break the whole layout. I looked in the generated code, and it looks clean: the button is defined by:

<input type=”image” src=”https://www.madrijazz.ch/wp-content/plugins/sell-downloads/paypal_buttons/button_c.gif&#8221; style=”padding-top:5px;”>

so no size is indicated, I would expect the button to be the original file size.

I looked in the CSS definitions, but couldn’t find a reason for which this button is magnified. If at the same place, I put an <image> tag instead of the <input>, the image size is OK (not magnified). But when in the input directive, it is fully magnified… Any idea how I could workaround this ?

I just realized when somebody pay and download the file from my website, name of the file is completely changed from what is set in WordPress library. Basically, buyer gets bunch of different numbers instead of actual file name which is bit confusing. Any idea how to fix this? Many thanks.

1) Action hook allowing additional inputs to be set on the PayPal button HTML (We need to add the input name=”custom”).
2) An action hook when a sale is completed. This needs to provide data about the sale to the action hook’s callback such as the invoice number, product name, sub-total, and the $_POST data from PayPal’s IPN response.
