I followed your advice from a year before but I still have some products that are using this plugin.
I made a sale yesterday and both the buyer and I have received 16 emails with the download link.
How do I stop the emails? Fortunately this is a long time buyer and is being understanding but I need a solution.
I checked the debug file and the plugin is sending the email every few hours.

]]>This plugin sounds promising though I haven’t tested it personally. One of the project I am working on demands:
Step 1: that I upload an audio file within my wordpress site
Step 2: Receive payment from PayPal for purchasing this audio file
Step 3: Share the link (via email) to the user as a private link with an expiration period (expiry after 24 hours from the time the link was clicked)
NOTE: The difference in my use case is such that instead of “allowing users to download”, we would want to “allow user to stream” or in other words, allow users with “view only” permission. Hope this makes sense.

i am using the paypal-sandbox to test everything. i get the mails for the business which says it is paid. buyer gets email with successful payment and gets redirected to the thank you page. no email with the download link is sent.

I have a staging site set-up in GoDaddy WP Hosting and it has been working for days… now all the sudden it caused fatal erorrs on the site… I deactivated the plugin and the site is fine now…

At the moment customers place orders and are redirected to the thank you page – nothing else happens. No further prompts or download links sent.

I’ve been using your plugin for a while now. At this moment Im tryign to make a Zap integration with my CRM, but after make the test Im having issues with the URL_Notification in paypal.
I’ve did all the steps zapier mentioned in documentation, it means change my IPN setting for the one zapier gives me to create the ZAP.
Everything works well with plugin, I mean, the selling process is just OK, the email to customer too… but Paypal is receiving this URL
https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=isell_paypal_ipn
It means that the IPN URL notification that I previously configured on Payapl its being overwritten by the plugin.
Is there a way from your side to change this behaviour?
Zapier support sent me to Paypal support, and paypal sent to me to yours to look for an answer.

I get notifications from wordpress and paypal that the payment was successful. I also checked the debug log and it always says “IPN successfully verified” and “Product download email sent successfully” so I’m not sure what the problem is.

There appears to be a change in making purchases using the plugin.
When one clicks the buy button, the visitor is redirected to PayPal and asked to either login or use the guest button.
After that they are redirected to the purchase page where they cannot see the item being purchased unless they use the drop down menu.
Is this a new feature of iSell? How can one take the visitor directly to the purchase page with details of the product.

]]>I love using the iSell plugin to sell my digital products using PayPal. I love how it both redirects the buyer to the thank you page and still emails it to the buyer. That way the buyer gets to the product either via email or redirect saving me from non receipt disputes.
I however have one problem with the plugin. I cannot create different thank you pages for each product. I want my customers to be redirected to different thank you pages for different products. Also receive emails for each product.

I need a clarification please. I received a message from PayPal 2 days ago regarding their upgradation to SHA-256. During communications, they mentioned that while PayPal doesn’t require SSL certification post upgradation on 30th September 2016, I need to check, in their words, if the plugin
1. Is sending API request to PayPal, you may need to ensure the server are supporting.
2. If the button includes notify_url, then you may need to apply all the changes to ensure the IPN services work.
Please guide me if this plugin will be compatible with their SHA- 256 upgradation post 30th September 2016 or if some extra work is required at my end.
