How to access to the root directory of site?

Hi,
When I try to upload a css file, it shows following error
Unable to upload “style.css”.
File type not allowed.
(text/css)
and when I try to rename a file to .css it shows following error
Unable to rename “style.txt”.
File type not allowed.
style.css
and when I try to unzip a zip file which contains a css file, it shows following error.
Unable to extract files from “htdocs/wp-content/themes/x/new/css/style.zip”.
Unable to save “style.css”.
In shot css file is not supporting in your file manager, no css file upload, no file rename to css, no file unzip which contains css file.
Pls solve the issue.

i?In the click right of the files, in the option “Get Info”
show the window emergent,
In the option “Link” the hyperlink goes the folder “www.site.com/wp-content/plugins/secure-file-manager/vendor/elfinder/files/”
I would like to goes folder custom

I am looking for a plugin that allow users to upload files (images, documents etc), but once uploaded.. only the user that uploaded the files can access the files. Is this possible?
