At login I get a icon which I can choose on my iPhone. Then I I get the message on the phone that access is ok.
But on Windows or my iPad I get “Sie sind leider nicht berechtigt, auf diese Seite zuzugreifen.”
I got this several times on 2 sites for the whole day.
my SecSign Id is LSBK-Basel
what is the problem?
BTW do you know a valuable alternative for WordPress?

]]>I have been using secsign for years and value its functionality. However, lately I am getting more and more errors with the latest wordpress versions. I cannot find any solution to these errors and am forced to move to other solutions as it breaks my use of other plugins.
error 1: “Your WordPress server configuration does not support background processing. The bulk importer will not work.” – When i disable the Secsign plugin, this error resolves.
error 2: “A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.”
I hope someone can help, avoiding me to look into alternative solutions.

When SecSign plugin is activated SiteHealth shows these errors:
An Active PHP session was detected
A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.

The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

Your site could not complete a loopback request
Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

I am also using the plugin WPS Hide Login that moves my login page to any given address – i.e.: https://www.mysite.com/youreallywanthat/.
However, as soon as I deactivate the WPS Hide Login, I can see the SecSign login box. Which is not the case if I activate it – then I get the usual password login form from WordPress. Any ideas?
I have only 2 users on my site, both have SecSign access only.
Nevertheless there is a link “sign in with password” which leads to a login screen. Can I prevent that? Or is this save?

I installed secsign plugin and enabled it.
the login page shows the login icon, and I select it on phone app.
Phone App says login successful, but WordPress stays stuck on login page and nothing happens.
No errors in php log.
Any hint?

Hello there, yesterday i instal your plugin ( by the way, excellent work) but i notice that i have a problem with Revolution Slider, the slider either takes a lot of time to load or it sent load at all, sometimes when it load and you navigate on the site and go back to the page with the slider the images doesn’t show. I troubleshoot all the plugins one by one and is yours the one conflicting with RevSlider. Can you take a look at this?
