The Secondary Title plugin may be tiny, but it is highly effective and incredibly useful. This plugin adds a unique dimension to the traditional WordPress title, enhancing its attractiveness. Young and talented developer Kolja Nolte has been exceptionally helpful, resolving a seemingly critical issue with the title display on my homepage with great dedication. I am deeply grateful for his assistance and look forward to more outstanding plugins from him in the future.

First off, this is great, it works very well, I’m super happy with it.
I did NOT however want to delve into making custom templates, what I wanted was to treat the subtitle field like the excerpt. So I went to ChatGPT and said
“make a wordpress plugin that replaces the content of the except with the content of a meta field”
The only thing I had to change was the name of the field, which is _secondary_title. I’d love to see this as an option in the plugin, the code is only about 10 lines.

Earlier I marked it one star as everything had stopped working due to the error generated by the plugin. Turned out it was not due to the plugin but the malware attacked the admin area.
I am taking my words back and apologizing to the author of the plugin. As a developer myself I can feel his pain. Therefore I am reviewing my comment and updating it.

This plugin looks deceptively simple, it’s easy to set up. I’m not sure why its functionality isn’t integrated in WordPress by default. It should be, exactly in the form that this plugin offers.

Annasta is a product shop filter, when you select brands categories or change the price filter, the custom secondary title disappear. To make it appear again you are forced to refresh the page, this bug should be fixed asap, as i think this happens also with other product filters plugins.

I’m not yet very good with wordpress and plugins in general since I just started. I had a hard time installing the secondary title option and the developer was amazing at helping me out. He reached out immediately after I explain my issue and solved not only that but some other imperfections on my titles. Very helpful and answers quickly.

This is a wonderful plugin. The developer is responsive to issues and thoughtful on updates. Most of all, secondary title provides a ton of functionality to a blog, that to my knowledge no other plugin can do. I love it’s simple design. Having a second title really helps me both brand and better message my blog posts. I would pay for this plugin.

I had been searching for an easy-to-use secondary title option for my client’s website, that wasn’t going to slow down the site and that the client could interact with, without needing to know code. I found this plugin and loved it. My client found it easy to use and was very pleased with the function.

This plugin is great but you might run into conflicts with the latest version of WordPress. It took me a lot of time to diagnose a plugin conflict that occurred between Secondary Title and Yoast SEO after I updated to WordPress 5.3. Never did hear back from the developer but that’s OK, everything working well now.
