danke für dein plugin. Einfach anzuwenden, macht das was es soll und auch optisch (langsames anfahren und beschleunigen) ist ganz nach meinem Geschmack.

I was missing a bit of information at first, considering I have disabled TinyMCE, but author @github was more than helpful and fast with responding.
If you have disabled TinyMCE, like me, this is the way to insert shortcode manually:
The visual editor inserts a shortcode
[sta_anchor id="summary" /]
(or, if you encapsule text[sta_anchor id="summary"]your text[/sta_anchor]
). The shortcode then gets rendered in frontend as
. Either should work, but generally the idea was to provide an easy way to add anchors with the formatting icon in TinyMCE.

I was looking for a very simple plugin for my dad, to add anchors in his text.
This one does the job, and is very easy to use.
I did have a minor issue regarding anchors that contain multiple words, created a thread, and developer responded very quickly.
Five stars.

Very strong plugin that is easy to use for anchors. There is even an anchor offset under settings. Sadly that piece does not work. However still much easier than hand coding in the anchor tags. Thanks.

That creator of this plugin assumes that anybody who uses the plugin is a programmer. Clear and easy to used instructions will enhance this plug in greatly.
For me defensively I have to round file this plug in and move on.

Yes, I am perfectly able to implement smooth scrolling all by myself. But this plugin is ridiculously simple to use and works like a charm with our custom themes.
Keep up the awesome work, Bego!

Simple and easy, just what I needed.
Replaces default opening of anchors with nice slide. Simple settings. And that’s it.
I’m writing content in html, so I have no need of any more functions.
Thanks for your work! Much appreciate it!

I don’t know why, but problems abound within the WordPress world when it comes to scrolling too far (or not far enough) to same-page anchor links for pages that use a sticky header. This plugin fixes the problem in one minute: Simply set the offset (e.g. 70px) in the Scroll To Anchor settings, then save them. You’re done. Sweet.

Hopefully this can be fixed but this plugin disables scrolling and the mobile menu of my website. I’m using the very popular Pinboard theme.

I actually both needed jump links on same page but also wanted to link remotely to a specific location in my guide.
Remote linking works like a charm if you postpend #your_anchoridtitle to your url like this:
https://yoururl.com/yourposttile/#your_anchorid
Possibly Bego you should mention this in your plugin description, to others that looked specifically for this like me.
Also notice that by default you have to disable displaying the anchor text on front end via Settings > Reading. This should possibly be disabled (unchecked) by default, since few would seem to want strange anchor text showing up in their text.
Thanks a load Bego for sharing. Rated 5/5

This looks great but there is no settings section and no way to uncheck any box so the lable: Anchor, can be removed. So it shows the word anchor and and the label I gave it. The instructions say that you can go to settings (no settings on the plugin, then reading then uncheck a box, but none of that is there. When I go into edit I get a bunch of code but I don’t know how to change the code so not usable.
