The reason I was looking for a widget that would scroll text was because I wanted to have a lot of text in a little space. I have a list of about 100 items that I want to display in my right sidebar. If I use a regular text widget it displays all of the names but takes up a lot of space.
So, a scrolling text widget should have been perfect to solve this problem. However, if I add that list to scroll text widget, the widget takes up exactly the same space as the non-scrolling widget, except that it looks worse because nothing shows but white space and then the names start scrolling from way down at the bottom. There should be a setting to specify the height of the widget and the text should then scroll though. Everything displays, but it wouldn’t take up so much space. ??

But how do a add a line break between paragraphs ?
I am getting a js error menu that $ is not a function … so the plugin is not working. Can you update? Thanks
