I love this plugin and would use it but for one major flaw, in your other plugins all your links open in a different window. This plugin opens all links in the same page as your site, taking the visitor away from your site. I’m sure this is an oversight by the developer but because of this I give it three stars. If this is fixed I’ll absolutely change my rating!! Otherwise very nice work!

I had problems getting this to work initially. Similar issues as the other negative reviewers had. I was really disappointed as I had been looking for ages for an RSS plugin that did exactly what this one does. However, I contacted the developer via his website and sent him a link to the feed that was giving me problems and I received the following reply:
Thank you for the information.
Issue: Feed contain special character in the description.
How to solve this issue?
1. Open scroll-rss-excerpt.php file
2. Go to line 291
$srsse_text = $description[1][0];
3. Replace with below line.
$srsse_text = mysql_real_escape_string(trim($description[1][0]));
4. Try again.
i will update this in the next release.
Having applied this fix the plugin now works great.
