I was wondering if there is any way to make this work with custom post types?

I set the post to sticky, click OK, set the unstick time, click to publish or update the post, everything seems fine. Come back later (anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours) and the post is no longer sticky and the unstick time is not set.

This type of plugin is very useful to me, but unfortunately it doesn’t work.
