I installed your plugin and I can make the widget work but not the shortcode for a page.
The dialog does not show the accept button and I’m seeing the styles very different from the screenshots you posted.
I downloaded the plugin again to check if there was an installation issue but I keep getting the same errors.
For example I found this too:
SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list
salsapr…ver=0.5 (línea 108, col 9)
ReferenceError: QTags is not defined
admin.p…e=salsa (línea 2773, col 1629)
“NetworkError: 404 Not Found – https://sentencingstg.shoshkey.com/wp-content/plugins/salsa-press/images/salsa-mono.png”
salsa-mono.png
Can you help me to find what could be the issue?
]]>Please please please do not post here. It doesn’t ever email me. Or it does sporadically.
]]>Our forms are set up to have “Zip Code” as a required field via the Salsa Dashboard, however when the forms are embedded via the WYSIWYG embed feature, they Zip code is never required, it does not show the * and users can successfully submit the form without entering anything in this field.
The only way I was able to get around this in the past was to use the “text” WordPress editor and manually embed an iframe with the actual Salsa form linked inside it.
Thanks in advance.
]]>We are using Polylang plugin to manage English and Spanish versions of our sites. We have separate forms set up in Salsa for collecting information from English and for Spanish, but the embedded forms selected through the WYSIWYG Salsa embed feature render in English only. I’m not seeing a way to edit the field titles on our Salsa dashboard either.
I’ve read through the Salsa internationalization FAQ and know that you can set the language via “/l/(first three letters of language)/” in the URL of the page itself (https://help.salsalabs.com/entries/23138628-Internationalization#h) but I dontt know how to set this through this WYSIWYG embed feature.
Please advise.
]]>Hi,
We are launching a website for a client who uses Salsa. These are the following things we need incorporate with salsa:
Email submit : https://nav.co/clients/gfi/
(“submit” in the hero or header area)
Subscribe page: https://nav.co/clients/gfi/subscribe/
Find Your Representative: https://nav.co/clients/gfi/issues/take-action-on-money-laundering/
(see the form below the image)
Can you provide some guidance on how to do this?
]]>Wow hadn’t realized there were unanswered support tickets in here.
Wanted to reiterate that Github – not WordPress – is where you want to post.
Again that’s https://github.com/BusProject/SalsaPress/issues/ not in this forum.
]]>Receiving the following JS error in Firebug:
TypeError: tinymce.dom.Event.add is not a function
tinymce.dom.Event.add(dellButton, ‘mousedown’, function(e) {
editor_plugin.js (line 67)
Turning off SalsaPress removes the error. Please provide a fix! Client is complaining that this completely removes TinyMCE in their browser…
]]>We’ve added contact and event forms to our site but we’re having some trouble understanding why the Join Group field is showing on the form despite no optional groups being selected. Ideally this would be hidden.

Please advise.
]]>I can’t get the plugin to work because I’m not able to select the specific chapter I run on Salsa. When I select the drop-down menu in the settings, it says “Show All Chapters.” But none of the options show up.
How does this part work? If I can’t select the chapter, I can’t get the plugin to work. Please help.
]]>SalsaPress is unable to log in to Salsa. Is there something out of the box that needs to be enabled in Salsa? We just bought the service but I feel like we’re missing something.
]]>We’ve got an https connection running and it seems that SalsaPress is the only plugin that isn’t playing well. Its giving us this code which makes the site unsecure.
Problem is at https://iwhc.org/join-us/donate/ and you can see it confirmed by using https://www.whynopadlock.com/
Any ideas on a fix? We’re not using the form on that page but we are using it on other pages (would also be good practice if you ONLY loaded scripts and css on pages it is used on.)
Cheers!
]]>I recently updated to WP 3.7 and SalsaPress 3.0 and now I’m getting a message across my toolbar when I compose a post that says “Warning: _() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given in /home/luhoo49/snakeriveralliance.org/wp-content/plugins/salsa-press/admin/embed.php on line 7”
How to I resolve this?
Thanks in advance.
]]>How can I edit/add CSS to the sign up form? Check out my homepage here (its under construction) and see that the form is in the lower left hand corner, but it clearly is not styled the way the rest of the page is styled.
I have trolled through the .php and .css files in the plug-in and the theme and can’t seem to find the code that I need.
Thanks!
John
Are you planning to update the plugin for 3.6?
I have a client who has just signed up with Salsa (sprung it on me) and has now asked me to ditch MailChimp use Salsa to create his mailing lists and use them for his newsletter mailing.
So before I install your plugin and tell him its do-able, I’d like to know if it is, and that it will stay current for the foreseeable future.
Many thanks,
Terence.
]]>I’m having issues connecting email entries to my salsa account and changing the style of the form. My organization just opened a salsa account and we’d like to incorporate it into our website.
First, there is no confirmation that the email went through. I added text and html links to the widget in the “After Saving The Form” section, but when I test the form I am redirected to my blog page after hitting submit. What do I have to do to have a “thank you for submitting” note?
Second, there is no validation that the text submitted was an email or not. How can I make sure that I receive a valid email with a “@” and “.”?
Third, Where is the css for this form so that I can change it?
Is it the php I need to look at? Where is the php for the form so that I can change this?
I’m trying to change the look of the email submission form so that it says “Enter Email” in the gray box as opposed to outside of it. I would also like to elongate the text box where people enter their email.
I’m using the plugin and and it is connecting OK. However if I add a new Group or list of groups for users to sign up for, those lists do not show. I have cache disabled and the custom field I added shows and works but for some reason the group fields won’t show in WP. They do show in the default template in Salsa but not embedded in the forms in WP. To get the custom field to show up I had to create a brand new form and start over. Is that normal?
It is also not redirecting to the page as noted in Salsa after submission and there is referring information in admin either. This info is important since it lets admin know which form it was submitted from.
It seems WP and Salsa are connecting but not fully. Any ideas here?

]]>Thank you so much for creating the SalsaPress plugin! I really appreciate your making this available to the wordpress community.
The FAQ is very basic, so I’d like to ask how SalsaPress differs from WP Jalapeno in terms of features? I’m researching whether it would be worthwhile to switch over to SalsaPress. Appreciate your help, thanks!
