]]>Hello,
I’ve add the plugin “Sideways8 Private Pages” on my site, and “User Role Editor” and I want a user to have only the permissions for private pages but not the other pages. Is it possible ? Or access to “normal” pages mandatory?
Regards,
I want to insert subpage links (like in the private ‘can_edit’ page)
But only displaying the links of the user subpages.
I try to add it from editor with the link tool and “search inside website content”
But privates pages not displaying there…
Thank you
]]>Hi there!
Does anybody use this plugin with the current (4+) WP version?
Thanks & best regards,
Rudolf
Hi, I have developed an e-commerce website and I’m using your plugin to create a reseller area accesible only by one user. Now I want to use the Faq’s template of my theme (Avada) so I selected “Faq’s” on the private page. The problem is that if I type the address of the faq’s article on my address bar, I can see it, also if I’m not logged in the private page. How can I make all the articles not reacheable?
Thank you
Francesco
I have installed this plugin, and I have the endpoint as employeeinfo so my url looks like this:
https://www.domain.com/employeeinfo
Im using the redirect so my link is shown as https://www.domain.com/employeeinfo?=s8_pp_redirect
When you click on the link, as an admin…I was able to see all of the private pages (individual users would see just their private page). Now when you click on it, it forced you to log in, and it’s an endless loop. I don’t understand how it could be working fine one day and the next nothing. No other plugins were added, nothing was changed in configurations, and it’s been the same since I installed it previously. Please help!
]]>Hello!
I am using your plugin and love it, thank you very much.
I am also using the Project Panorama plugin found here: https://www.projectpanorama.com/
Upon enabling the Panorama plugin, ALL private pages from your plugin break. resulting in 404 errors. Could you please point me in the right direction for solving these breaks?
Thank you.
]]>I love this plug-in…it’s made it possible for me to give my guitar students their own private lesson pages on my site.
My problem is the the “Private Pages” seem to be using the default post template, and are including post meta data on the private pages (see screenshots):

How do I remove this?
Thanks,

I’m trying to create a private page, but I see according to the screen shots I should get a “private pages option” widget on the right hand side of my pages edit screen. I don’t see that so I don’t know how I’m going to use the plugin! I first tried this w/o the sideways8 Login plugin activated then I thought maybe I needed it so I activated it, but it still didn’t help (although I didn’t change any settings.) This might be a “duh” problem, but any help would be great!

Hello,
I saw your nice plugins, I’m using WordPress 3.9 And WooCommerce 2.1.8.
I want to ask if your plugins can help me to make two groups/access levels (Male, Female) in my WordPress website where each group has its own private product category and the new user has to select one of them when he/she register on the web site.
Thank you,
” Other users are simply redirected to the home page or to their private page if one exists.”
Well…no. Other users are redirected to the WordPress log in page, which isn’t what I want. So how do I change what page they’re redirected to?
]]>Hi, this plugin works great for me but, I am having a hard time displaying a list of private pages for users.
I can think of several work arounds (such as other plugins, I like this one:https://github.com/billerickson/Display-Posts-Shortcode/wiki but do not know what the page type would be called.)
Is there a built in shortcode to display a list of a users private files?
If not, how do you suggest that I do it?
Thanks,
]]>Hi!
Downloaded your plugin yesterday and it works like a charm with one exception.
Let’s say I create a private page called my-private-page
Once it’s created if I go to the sites front end and use the WordPress search bar to search for ‘private’ it pulls up the page and shows it in the search result.
I’d like to exclude your custom post time from search and believe I need to add the line :
‘exclude_from_search’ => true
Where do I put this to stop my private pages showing in search results?
]]>Is it possible to create a private page upon user signup?
TIA
]]>I want to show a link to a user’s private page(s) when that user is logged in. Automatically in the menu, and don’t show the menu item to any other, not even admins (because they can see the page on the admin pages).
]]>Adding comments capability would be great!
Also consider having the private page appear on the menu when its owner logs in. If a client logs in to their private page and then navigates to another page the only ways they can get back to their own page are either using the “back” button or logging out and logging back in again. For clients with minimal tech comfort this can be baffling.
]]>Hello,
Thanks so much for this awesome plugin. I am currently using it to build a client portal, where clients can log into a page just for them and comment on images uploaded by an admin.
I was able to add the comment PHP to the custom template but the comments keep showing up as closed. Do you know what I might be missing? I tested this out on pages that aren’t using S8 Private Pages and the comments worked normally.
Thanks!
]]>Hey, nice plugin.
Is it possible to use custom page templates for the private pages?
