Hello. I just found this plugin and it seems like it is the best option to add statistics to my blog. I have been using my blog to enter my runs for many years, but i have not put them into statistics before. When I added runnersblog is seems like I have to create new posts in the run format to get the plugin to get them into the stats, but there is a section for runners data also in old blog posts, but if I enter anything in that it does not get included in the statistics. How do I get data for other posts than RUNs to appear in the runners_log_basic ?

]]>Hi
After installing and activating. On the first settings page I get:
Notice: Undefined index: runnerslog_op_hidden in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/runners-log/runnerslog_admin.php on line 2
The other settings pages also show errors
I’ve removed and re installed the plug-in
Still happens ??
Is there a way we can use this engine for the front-end ?
Instead of going to the dashboard of wp ?
Thanks. Great plugin.
]]>hi there,
how would I go about translating this plugin so that the things visible on my blog are in my own language? Which files do I need to go to?
Hi.
After the last update, only in HOME PAGE, I can see the result of [runners_log_basic] code on the TOP-LEFT Header of the WordPress Blog, which reports a random log from my Garmin logs.
Thanks for support.
If I post a forthcoming event or run for says april 2013, and its a 10k run, it I put 10k in the runners log part of the post, it will update my graph with the distance but it puts the distance into the month from the publish post date, so it appears that I did a 10k run in december when in fact its a run for april 2013, not december 2012.
would be at all possibly to be able to add the month in, the same way we add the time and distance.
]]>Hello,
after installation the following error is coming when i go on the admin-page “Runners Log – Stats and Graph”. So it is not possible to give some data in.

]]>Very nice plugin! Well done.
Is there a way to import bulk data from either a file or an on-line log such as https://www.runningahead.com ? I have 5 years of running logged and it would be nice to upload it in my blog….
Thanks,

Have recently descovered this plugin which i must say is fantastic!
Unfortunatly enable the WEATHER function, killed my site with this error

]]>Hello,
I apologize in advance because i’m french, and i don’t have a very good level in english.
When you use “runners_log_basic”, normaly, you have 2010 resume stats, 2011 resume stats, and At all resume stats.
But since 2012 there is no 2012 stats, and all others stats don’t want to function :
“
2010: 1281.9km based on $number_of_runs_2010 runs with an avg of $avg_km_per_run_2010 km
2011: 51.7km based on $number_of_runs_2011 runs with an avg of $avg_km_per_run_2011 km
At all: 3447.4km based on $number_of_runs runs with an avg of $avg_km_per_run km
“
I think the plugin should have a upgrate for this.
frold, TheRealEyeless, michaellasmanis, can you fix this problem please?
Best regard,
Yannick
ps : i don’t know if other personne have the same problem, but this plugin have a bug with wp_head, all content appearded at the top of the page.
]]>This particular graph does not work for me any more, although the others work fine.
A call to the function [runners_log_pie_hours] results in the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function __e() in[…]/wp-content/plugins/runners-log/runnerslog.php on line 1113
Has anyone else had issues with this function? The bar chart function displays hours per month perfectly, so as far as I can see the problem does not arise from a lack of raw data.

Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest version of your plugin (automatic through ftp) and my blog just stopped working: e dreaded white screen of death I renamed the runners-log directory and WordPress disabled the plugin. Then WordPress started normally again.
Cannot find any more debugging info. Have anyone else experienced this?
Cheers,
Casper
Hey,
at the moment we use pchart as the chart tools. This gives us some nice charts but at the moment it doesn’t support cache the way to us it.
Also pchart seems to be outdated as there haven’t been any updates for a looong time.
Further more pcharts seems to be placed in the top of you post and not where you placed the shortcode.
Google chart seems to solve all this and then you save server power as the google servers create the graphs and not your server.
But the google charts are not as beautiful as the pcharts – if you as me…
Should we go to google chart? Should we try to continue adding support for pchart. Should we only use pchart?
What do you think?
]]>Hey,
TheRealEyeless and I talked about adding a new feature to Runners-log in this way you could specify what kind of activity you want to track.
What kind of activity would you like to be able to track?
Being able to track more then one activity gives us some challenges.
First: how should this be integrated into the plugin?
One solution could be a dropdown box in the runners-log metabox where you have: Running, Cycling, Swimming etc
Second: how to make graphs?
This is the major challenge as we don’t check the activity type at the moment as we only support running ??
If you want to have graph with the km of the month – it will not make sense to mix swimming and bicycling ??
Third: speed versus minutes per miles or km
The speed is measured different when you are bicycling where its distance per hours while running is often distance per minute
Some of the challanges could be solved by adding a new statement to the shorttag code like this
[runners_log year='2010' month='May' type='pie' activity='cycling']
Where this would give you a graph of the cycling activity in may 2010 as a pie chart….
]]>Hey,
I really like this plugin, because it is just what I wanted ??
Nowadays many runners use different kind of GPS devices for tracking.
I think the best one is an Ex-Nokia product (MBO) called Sports Tracker, which has been the most powerful software to keep track of everything.
Is there any possibility to integrate your plugin with their website? I can contact them and ask if they could provide some kind of API for this, because I doubt it is possible with their flash-site. The beta website was html, but for some reason they went all flash.
Address for the website:
https://www.sports-tracker.com
Happy New Year!

]]>I started using the gear manager. I added a few pairs of shoes and they show up nicely on the post when I enter them. I check one of the shoes and post. The gear manager is not updated. The shoe still shows 0 miles even though my run was 10.
I know this is in beta but is this a known bug?

Great Plugin but is there a way you can rename it Training Log or something because I use it on my mu site for paddlers and it works great but each time I upgrade I have to go through and change the text in the code so people don’t get confused
thanks
FYI this is an easy addition for the Yahoo weather to convert zips to WOEID
https://arguments.callee.info/2010/03/26/convert-zip-code-to-yahoo-woeid/
Hi,
I just installed the new version and I updated my weather settings with the correct Current WOEID: 12790304 (Allen).
However nothing is showing up on the blog post. See https://runhowitzrun.com/2010/11/17/another-10-mile-morning-run/
I used the [runners_log_weather_footer].
Other than that it’s a great plugin!
]]>Hi Guys
Would this plugin be able to store athletic results for multiple runners that could be viewed from your wordpress website. I would love to store such details as athletes name, race distance, time, etc. Ideally it would be stored in a database etc and retrieved.
Our club holds two races a week and instead of creating PDF files for the results I would love to be able to enter this into a form and allow my visitors to pull up the results. They could select an athlete and see all their results.
Goals are to be able to store an individuals time against a specific course.
Think this plugin is geared more to just an individual rather than group.
Dan
]]>Hi,
First of all, let me say that this plugin looks extremely powerful. Thanks for the work that you have put into this already!
Is there a way to enter running data without writing a new post? I train 2-3 times a week and do not intend to write a post every time, but I do want to record the running results to fully benefit from you plugin.
Thanks and keep up the great work.
]]>Hi,
I recently set up WordPress for your plugin. Great work so far! ??
But I don’t get the graphs and pies shown, values like running time etc. are shown correctly but no images. I am running an Ubuntu 8.04 Server and the GD Plugin for PHP is installed. If I Use the Pie tag, it just presnts me: “Training Graph Pie Hours”. Any idea what I do wrong ?
Cheers Eyeless
