Not sure when this started or what triggered it, but I’ve been getting this error message:
Warning: Use of undefined constant RPPostNav - assumed 'RPPostNav' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /var/www/vhosts/robinverdegaal.nl/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/rp-post-nav/rp-post-nav.php on line 41
What could be causing this?
WP 5.5.1
PHP 7.3.21
Hello, I really hope you continue the development of this plugin as I find it really useful!
I wonder if you could add the option to loop around certain taxonomy posts instead of reaching the end. It would be amazing…
Thank you very much ??
Hello and great plugin! It’s working well when only using it for Posts or only for Portfolio (custom) post type. As soon both are activated (registered) it only shows up in Portfolio but not in Posts.
I’ve already tried different configurations but doesn’t seem to work. It’d be very helpful if you could help me with this. Thank you very much!

Hi there
For some reason the plugin does not seem to follow the order of the pages by wordpress numerical ordering system? Just wondering what numbering system it follows?
Steph
I was hoping to find a plugin like this one, so thank you greatly. I am hoping though that I can reduce the realestate the links take up…is there a way to compress them some? Possibly make the prev and next thumbnails side by side?
How do I find the keywords that I can modify with CSS?
Thank you greatly
Hi
my navigation works for the posts but the filter by custom taxonomy is not working
Please help me, it’s weeks till i’m waiting for support now
Thanks
On some posts the background image is appearing huge and it isn’t pulling the excerpt through e.g.
https://www.familysailing.co.uk/sailing-around-the-world-departure-day/
and on some posts it is displaying ok e.g. https://www.familysailing.co.uk/maxs-blog-3-28-00-south-35-45-east/
and on some posts it is displaying a larger than normal (but ot huge) background image with the excerpt
what can i do to rectify this?
The plugin screenshots show a difference in positioning of the next/previous areas between automatic display and using shortcode.
I like the shortcode version a lot better because it’s positioned AFTER the comments section and thus doesn’t split the context of the post itself. I also like the full width layout much better than the content-column version.
However, I can’t find where to place the shortcode. If I use it inside the post the position is the same as the automatic version, and I can’t get it to work in the content.php file. Can you give me some pointers where to start looking?
Thanks!
Robin
I installed and activated the plugin, but it’s not showing any thing, I am using the latest version of WordPress, is it because of that?

is there a way to use a repeating pattern?
right now it just scales up the small pattern image instead of defaulting to horizontal and vertical repeat.
Hi! I love your plugin! I have it on my blog posts and wanted to add it to the bottom of some of my pages. I tried the shortcode [RPPostNav] and the workaround but neither are working. Suggestions?
I am not WordPress Literate.
Hi:)
Just came across something unusual … I updated a number of plugins, including RP Post Nav … and after which there are no next / previous post links
All I see is:

I have deactivated all other plugins I updated … but still have the same issue … and there are no errors showing up in the inspector
Just checking if you have seen anything like this before / if you can point me in the right direction of things to check.
Many thanks in advance
Hello, I have activated the plug-in, and am not sure how to proceed. I want thumbnails of previous posts displayed (3 at most). I am only slightly familiar with CSS, but given the code and steps I could probably implement it. Thank you in advance.
Hi, I’m getting the following error code in the RP Post Nave Admin under post types and taxonomies options. Thanks

Love this plug-in. Thanks very much!
Is there a way to use a background color instead of image for the block?
Thanks!

Is there a way to make the whole block a link, and not just the title?
The default Twenty Fifteen theme behavior is what i’m trying to emulate.
Love the plugin !! very nice work ??
Just testing it out at the moment … just come across one thing … I have the excerpt box checked … but it seems to be taking the first few lines from within the post … rather than the excerpt content.
Do I need to do something else?
Many thanks in advance
