For a blog i wanted to add location tags on blog articles. I purchaced pro in late february to get al features.
After paying i got the download link. Installed it, ant guess.. It didn’t work
Tried some things for myselve
– Clean install of wordpress
– Disable all other plugins ect.
– Delete old RoboMap And Robomap PRO
Nothing worked. So i submitted a ticket. The next day i got a reply to provide them wit a’n account to enter my site, After replying this information i did’nt hear anything.
A week after waiting with no results/reply i asked how it’s going. The awnswer. We forwarded it to Develop department.
It is nog mid April. And still no solution. So i took a dive in the code of the plugin and removed some things and it is working for a part.

Google maps now requires an API. No place to insert an API into the plugin, so the map links will not work.

This never even began to work at all. My major gripe is that I paid for RoboMaps for the WordPress PRO version and failed to even get an acknowledgement to my pleas for help. I had installed Robosoft’s Gallery plugin and was reasonably impressed with that so I thought their Maps plugin would be ok.
This is the text I sent to Robosoft, and subsequently to Paypal in an attempt to get a refund. If Robosoft had responded I wouldn’t have escalated it.
I spent hours trying to make sense of the documentation. It seems to consist of adverts for the software and takes you round in circles. The most basic information – the format for coordinates of latitude and longitude – is missing. I’ve only twice seen a map and that was only for milliseconds before Sorry! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details. Even this dialogue box is bad with faint grey text almost illegible on a white background. Compared to Robo Galleries it’s very, very amateurish. I’ve never seen it even begin to work. I think I’d like a refund please
Mostly when trying to get the Maps plugin to work I got nothing at all. The best I got was Sorry! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
I asked about the format of input coordinates and got no response. I tried the following:
55°56'03.90" N 3°12'36.89" W
Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NG
51°06'27.6"N 17°02'06.4"EIf I got any result at all it was only Please check input address or Coordinates.
Based on previous experience I don’t expect any response from Robosoft and have resigned myself to paying for something that doesn’t work.
