Howdy, and happy New Year. ?? I love that authors can see the ReWord interface/list. Ideally authors could only see reports on their own content so that they are: a) not able to delete other member’s Reword suggestions; b) prevent authors from deleting the entire corrections list, and c) are then managing relevant reports to their own posts. Imagine if there were hundreds of ReWord records, it would be challenging for authors to find suggestions to their own posts and then make corrections to their own posts. I’m not the only one who was interested in this.
Speaking of editing posts, it would be handy if there was an edit link to the right that opened a new tab to edit that post. This would speed up the editing workflow of taking on suggestions. Here’s a visual photo showing it’s placement: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fA5ZzUVE7MQyacMh8
Thankfully links to edit view are simply: wp-admin/post.php?post=ID&action=edit
Warm regards,
Josh
First wanted to say, this is a really neat plugin and worked on the first go. I’d like to inform you there is a PHP notice which many plugins had to correct in WordPress 6.7:
Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the reword
domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init
action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/site/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114
Warm regards,
Josh
]]>Can you add the ability to change the text in the tooltip? So that it would be possible to add normal dictionaries depending on the version of the site?
Can you add a column in the plugin table to understand which user left a comment about the issue. Store his/her ID number in this cell. And display it in the admin panel…
Thanks
]]>Hi, I’m using your plugin, but I need to change your code for my current language. And every time you update your plugin, all my translations are removed. Could you please add the .po .mo language files for the plugin. Thank you
PS I will help with correct translation on ukraine and russian language if you do it.
]]>Hello, I would like to put the sentence generated by Reword at a precise place. But for this, it needs some shordcode or block – and no automatic insertion at the end of the content.
]]>Hi,
We kept bumping into the problem that error reporting didn’t work for some of our readers. After some investigation we figured out that the length of the URL is the problem because the site_info column in the (prefix)_reword table is limited to 100 characters. I modified this field to varchar(255), and it now seems to work properly. Would you consider raising this limit, or getting rid of it? Since the plugin saves the part of the URL that is after the ? and # marks, it is not hard to make URL-s even longer than 255 characters in certain cases.
Thank you for the great plugin!
Looking forward to your opinion on this subject.
Tibor
]]>Hi, I use your plugin on site where users with role Contributor
can add own posts. How do I can hide your plugin for this role ?
I want that it show only for only for Admins and Editors roles?
]]>Hi. Could you for the plugin add a column to the database wp_reword which would bind the id
of the user who left the error report. Something similar to id_user_report
.
It would be great, if only a forum administrator or moderator would have access to view edits. Now a user with the contributor role can also see all the errors.
]]>Hello, I received my first reports today and I noticed that it’s plain text. It could be nice to have a direct link (in HTML) to the content and to the reports in admin so we can manage the reports directly from the mail received.
]]>Hello, after Mistape banned from depot, I’m very happy to see that ReWord is an excellent alternative. But there is no way to customize the messages shown to visitor – or to traanslate them.
And, with Blocksy theme, the banner did not show – it’s not a problem for me but it’s quite strange.
]]>is it possible you add an option to show the ReWord icon only for logged-in users?
it would be great if the admin can change the plugin texts of the messages such as: To report mistake, mark it and click ReWord icon, or: ReWord – “…” needs to be:. also it would be nice if the admin can change the R to Report or anything the admin wishes! Thanks in advance.
Hello, it’s a great alternative to some other report plugins and it may work on any device.
I have two suggestions?:
– the pop up is nice but I would prefer a message after post content so visitors don’t forget they can report
– options to customize the messages. I just translated the plugin and discoverer that I cannot translate the pop up messages.
Thanks again for sharing your work.
]]>Great plugin. Although it would be cool to have possibility to fix typos with one click.. Cause right now I just have list of typos and I have to edit all pages manually to fix them ??
