Hey David, apologies if this has been mentioned somewhere already. I’ve looked here, on your website, and in the (archived) GitHub repo and didn’t see anything. Is there any reason this plugin was closed last November? It seems to work fine, but Wordfence is yelling at me about it, and when I went looking for a reason I couldn’t find one. Thank you!
]]>TinyMCE Advanced brought back the option to add colour to the background of a post. Also, changing font colour. But, it seems neither of these are now working with TinyMCE Advanced and the plugin itself says it is not compatible with my version of WordPress.
In short, could you bring this feature back to the edit post window? I know it can be done with CSS and probably some other plugin here or there. But, the problem with that is having the plugin disappear and leave me with a lot of senseless code to clean up. The CSS option means I will have to look up both code and HTML colour numbers ever time.
It would be nice to have this back, especially now. I am trying to find ways to (reliably) post ASCII art in colour, in plain text instead of using image files. It may not work but if the colour was working I could at least take a screenshot to post alongside the plain text and show what it looked like before the formatting warped it.
]]>With the release of version 3 you may notice that you can no longer view and install plugins directly from the Restore Lost Functionality settings screen, but instead are taking to the standard plugins screen, where a search for the plugin is performed instead.
This is because, with the addition of “Shiny Updates” in WP 4.6, the old ability to install straight from this plugin’s settings screen stopped working. Although I’ve reached out to the developers to try and work out what I need to do to get this working again I have not, as yet, had an answer and I’ve been unable to work it out myself. Therefore the new functionality was added, which is better than the pop-up windows simply not working any more.
As soon as I find a resolution to this, I shall add it to a future release.
]]>Hi ??
As with all my plugins, I present this to you for free. There no ads, nags or premium options. Support is free too.
As for everyone, my time is limited. It’s just me and NOT a team of people. If you post here I should get an email straight away and I’m quite good as responding quickly. But, yeah, I may not always due to numerous reasons, including holiday (aka vacation). And, no, I won’t tell you when I’m going to be away. At the end of the day, I’ll do my best. I can’t do anything more, surely?
If you’re interested you can see current planned enhancements and reported bugs (as well as roadmaps for planned work) here…

Have fun, enjoy the plugin and, if you don’t, let me know – support queries and reviews are always welcome!

]]>Could you add a bookmarklet which would let me add a link from my web browser to my WordPress site? Link Library has this and I’ve come to love it. It makes it so easy to handle links as I find them. I can edit the title and add them to the link category I want without opening WordPress.
I don’t care if blogrolls and webings are unfashionable. I still like them! Thank you for this plugin. You’ve saved me from having to be fashionable and trendy. ??
