I’ve been going through this issue and I’m not able to find a solution for this.

We have different stores Eg: fr, it, es, etc… So, the behavior of this bug is different in each store. I’d like to know if anyone else faces this issue. Has anyone come across this issue?

I couldn’t see a code that separates the subcategory or the main category. only have all categories. please provide a method for separating categories.

I have installed your api in my local server. After install i tried to register a user using link https://localhost/wordpress/wp-json/wp/v2/users/register and method was post. Also i set parameter like below..

Hello Guys,

I dont have expertise in wordpress.

This is my api which gives me all pages & their content.

But I have used WPML plugin to multiple languages. And i m trying to get page content in other languages but its not working. like

https://example.com/wp-json/wp/v2/pages?lang=fr

But it works in woocommerce, like in categories, products and orders etc..

But not working in static pages.. Please help asap.

I have tried to create a rest-api which will update post metadata based on and . meta key is _yoast_wpseo_redirect.

my API is not working as expected and I am getting json_no_route error while trying to hit it.

Here is my code in functions.php

When we enter this plugin page, we nowhere see that WP already includes this.
on https://v2.wp-api.org/ somewher ein the middle page, in just “bolded” font, it is said.

however, THE TOP MOST MESSAGE AND MOST VISIBLE, should be that this plugin is no longer needed at all.

IT WASTES OUR TIME,after tens of minutes of trying to install this plugin, then we find that it is no longer needed.

I’m a few days struggling here and I can’t create a new user using WP REST API and define meta object in the JSON Body.

URL: https://localhost/wp-json/wp/v2/users/
Method: POST
JSON Body:

The user is created but the meta object is blank “meta”: []

Right now it only shows tag id, not tag name. It shows name and id of category But in case of tag, no name is shown. How I can get tag name also. I don’t need tag ID but only need tag name. Is there a way of it?

at this posts there are shown post_meta values.

Does anyone know a way to order the posts by the meta like this:

I found some solutions, but none of them are working for me….

hi.. i have a problem to get all the posts that only have the featured image.
i think there’re 2 possible ways but i don’t know how to do it.

1. the featured_media value for all the posts that don’t have image is 0. i try this /wp-json/wp/v2/posts?featured_media=0 or /wp-json/wp/v2/posts?filter[featured_media]=0, it didn’t work.

2. there’s a meta key called ‘_thumbnail_id’. so for the post that doesn’t use the image will be an empty string. i use this /wp-json/wp/v2/posts?filter[meta_key]=_thumbnail_id but i don’t know how to filter the meta_value to return not empty.

any help ?

Hello…

I’m adding a user to my MU site in a specific subdomain with the the following URL:

POST https://subdomain-name.maindomain.com/wp-json/wp/v2/users?username=test&[email protected]&password=123456789

This creates an user to the subdomain, but I can’t see it in the dashboard listing of users of this subdomain but in the other hand I can see it in the list of the main domain users.

I can edit the user and work with him via API, but for the subdomain users list the user doesn’t appears.

Any help?..

Hello, I try to transform my web site in a SPA with the wordpress rest API V2.
I have some pages which use some extensions like a portfolio (the exact name of the extension is Modula) and a calendar event (the exact name of the extension is “Liste des événements”).
In order to insert the extension in my pages, I use the appropriate shortcode.
Unfortunately the two extensions don’t work fine with the rest api : it seems that the shortcode are correctly transform into html code in the content response of the rest api (for the two extensions), but for the two extensions there is something wrong :
– modula return some javascript in the response content and this code seems not to be executed
– the calendar event need a css file which is not in the response (this problème is “solved” because I have had the css file in my header manually).

So, my question is : is it a good way to use the rest api V2 with page that use extensions? Is it some restrictions for the extensions we ca use with the rest api? And finally…does someone have a solution for my portfolio?
