Vertical video trending lately isn’t shown properly on portrait screens.
It’s shown like as if it’s on a landscape screen. (very small and the container is wide aspect)
I used a Vimeo video.
Is it possible to disable the related videos at the end of embeded videos, or at least show videos only from the channel that the video is embeded?

Im just wondering if there is a way to open a youtube video in a lightbox from a linked image. For ex. see this page: https://www.avalongolf.co/product/mens-golf-joggers-black/
and the image icon ‘Try on Video’. This links to a youtube video (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ5VK5X1AAA) and I would like this to open on the page as a lightbox.
Is this possible?

]]>Hi, this is not pertaining to the functionality of your plugin (which works great) at all really, I am hoping to get some direction regarding tracking the start/stop and playing percentage of Youtube video contained inside one of your plugin popups using Google Tag Manager and the new GA4.
Unfortunately the default GA4 video tracking doesn’t seem to work with popups and the GTM configuration option also don’t trigger the default tracking. I’ve worked through s few walkthroughs (https://www.analyticsmania.com/post/track-videos-with-google-analytics-4-and-google-tag-manager/)
Does your popup use the YouTube JS API? I am at the conclusion that something custom (JavaScript) need to be written in order to track the video in the popup. Do you have any pointers regarding this?

since a few weeks private vimeo videos are not working anymore (only recently added videos)
Normaly private vimeo links have the format https://vimeo/yyyy/xxxx and it worked with deleting the /xxxx but that changed now.
Could you make the change to the parsing function that those url are translated correctly in the needed format: “https://player.vimeo.com/video/yyyy?h=xxxx

I’m using the Display Pop-up Video on page loading settings to play the video on a certain page. The thing is though that I need the video to play on another page, specifically its English language version. Is there a way to select the video to play on two separate pages?

Let’s say I came from the home page, and because my website is a “Single Page App”, the page transitions and loads plugins and code only once, in order for me to navigate to my page and click on the images for the video popup and gallery features, I need to reload that page every time. ??
I’m sorry to tell you it doesn’t work with my used page builder from wpbakery. I tried the internal page builder that’s shipped with the used (Avada)-theme and there the responsive-mode works but we work with wpbakery.

Am trying to use this plugin with Toolset views, but the Lightbox seem to not understand the value that am trying to add.
I want to know if it is possible to add a custom field to get the URL of the video or is the plugin only able to process manually implemented URL’s ?

Hi all, I am fairly new to WP and am hoping you might be able to offer some advice, please. I am working on a site that uses Unyson Page builder and Jevelin as the template – I have not found a simple way to add the short-code to the site to get the video to work as required (when clicking on an image) – would anyone be able to advise how to do this, please? I can’t seem to find a space to add shortcode directly. Will this plugin work with the aforementioned setup?

I was wondering how to solve the case to have the video player enlarged. I used all the default settings and the video player is about 300 x 150 in size. It felt that the video wrapper is reading the viewport width as 300px. Do you know what other settings in WordPress could have caused this?

I’m on Cloudways (if that matters) and just wanted to bring this to your attention. Have you had any other reports of what could be slowing it down? ]]>I purchased the PRO version and have tried using it to pop up a video when user clicks a button – there are several videos listed. It works ok if there are only 2 but the minute I add the code to a 3rd option, it no longer works. If you popup the video, you can’t get out of it by clicking off the video or clicking the X to close the box. If this can’t do more than 2 videos, I need to request a refund. Otherwise, would love to know if there is another trick to this that I’m missing so I can give a good rating.

I’m attempting to add a Virtual Tour video link to the main menu on this site. I’ve tried adding the class to the link: wp-video-popup and I’ve even created a full page to link-to as well: https://pro-finish.net/virtual-tour/ — neither approach opened a lightbox from the menu link. I’m fairly certain I’m missing an element in the Description area that your plugin details the how-to! ??
Can you point me in the right direction to:
1. add a Virtual Tour link properly to the main menu
2. have it open the Vimeo video as a lightbox from anywhere that link is clicked within the site

Is there any way to have the CC button appear on the lightbox? It is very important for accessibility purposes, so would be great if you could add it as default. They only show up if you open YouTube on a different page.

Hi, I just installed the plugin and used the standard HTML code option just to see how it works, and it’s showing a very tiny thumbnail of the video and also isn’t autoplaying.
I saw in other threads that the tiny video issue is due to caching, but I only just installed it 5 minutes ago. The CSS options also don’t make a difference.
I also noticed that autoplaying can be ‘fixed’ with mute=”1″, which is true, but it obviously also mutes the video. Sound is fairly important. Other video popup plugins autoplay by default, is there a reason this one won’t?
