Hi, small problem,
It seems that ticking the box labelled “Disable title and extra info before playback” under YouTube settings in the plugin doesn’t change the player. We still see the channel logo and the video title across the top of each video in our site.
How can we remove it?
Thank you.
Hi,
We are using this plugin on a couple of projects and we notice it hasn’t been updated in a little while. Whilst it still seems to work ok it would be great to have it confirmed as supporting the latest WordPress version.
Many Thanks
Mark
The plugin is working great except for the fact that once the page is loaded, the video does not start automatically.
I tried writing the short code manually i.e: [responsive_vimeo 310944898 autoplay]
And also tried setting the autoplay by default in the settings vimeo options.
So far it has not being successful.
Question: does it take s=certain amount of time for the video to play after the page is loaded?
Hey,
I’m trying to show a video at 100% width. There seems to be an inline style that forces a margin on both sides of the video, thus preventing it from ever being truly 100% width. How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Andrei
Hi,
This will not work in the widgets area of my homepage. It only shows the text. Let me know if what info you need from me.
Thank you!
Is there a way that i can use an image placeholder with the responsive video light shortcode for my vimeo videos? I have an app that doesn’t always pull the video through the first time, once you refresh or go to another page the videos work fine. Otherwise the page looks very boring as is text only.
Hi there,
Any chance of an option to autoplay but muted?
Thanks for a great plugin!
The plugin was working perfectly until a month or so ago. Now I cannot activate it, I get the error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Twig_Autoloader in /home/diveinto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/responsive-video-light/twig/lib/Twig/Autoloader.php on line 18
And now no videos can appear in my posts, whether I use your plugin or just paste the YouTube or Vimeo code directly. It has completely borked my posts.
Hi,
Is it possible to somehow use the shortcodes in the sidebar? I tried to do it using the text widget, but I only get the to see the shortcodes in the sidebar. The plugin is very easy an handy and it would be great if this works. Thanks!

It doesn’t work for some links. It used to, might have had something to do with a WP update to 4.4.1. It seems to be ok with certain vids but not others.

If you goto week 2, you’ll see that it’s reversed: the vimeo works but not the youtube.
Thoughts?
Hi,
This is a small suggestion as other plugins are using the Twig library too.
I believe it would be a good idea to include a small check:
if ( class_exists( 'Twig_Autoloader' ) {}
in responsive-video-light/twig/lib/Twig/Autoloader.php on line 17
Thank you for your time ??
Hi there – is it possible to set a start time for the video to begin playing from?
Thanks
Simon
Hello,
we are testing now your plugin on Wp who works great !
But we have two things we can’t solve :
How to auto-play ? :
we insert the shortcode from the button on the page, it works perfectly, but no way to find how to auto-start & play the video ?
How to loop ? :
The Vimeo video we use auto-play good, but we don’t found a ? loop ? mode.
This two skills are available on other plugins, that’s we think it’s also possible on yours.
We published the page so you could have a look on ,it :

Hey guys,
thank you for that nice simple plugin.
I’ve got one problem:
I need to embedd my youtube clips with “https”, becaus some of my visitors are using the ssl connection.
But using your plugin with https brings up the error code and it can’t get any connection to youtube.
I hope that you’ve a nice workaround for me that I can fix that bug. Thank you very very much for your work!
Hi Bill.
I just noticed that all of my videos will only display at 300px x 150px. ??
Was there a youTube change? All of a sudden the videos won’t display at 100% width and height. ??
Can you help please?
Thank you,
Brent
Plugin is great.
Is there any way to change the Vimeo color parameter?

I went back and grab the full url from youtube as suggested in previous posts but that didn’t fix it either.
THanks for help.

I just upgraded to wp 3.5.2 and now my vimeo videos are resized to about half size using the latest 1.1.0 of responsive video light. The aspect ration is unchanged but the videos are still inside the original 950 pixel width with very large black bars on each side. I’ve checked Vimeo and everything seems ok there.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Is there a way to remove the empty p tag around the divs to make it valid html?

Thanks for this plugin! It’s just what I was looking for.
One small issue: there ends up being some extra paragraph tags in the code, adding space below video. Code is like this:

<iframe ......>

It’s easy enough to use some CSS to hide the effects of the first paragraph set, but not the second one.
